About this listen

The Watersong Series takes you deep into a new world . . .Beautiful. Fearless. Dangerous. They're the kind of girls you envy; the kind of girls you want to hate. Strangers in town for the summer, Penn, Thea, and Lexi have caught everyone's attention, including the eye of practical Harper. But it's her sister, Gemma, they've chosen to be part of their group. Sixteen-year-old Gemma seems to have it all - carefree, pretty, and falling in love with the boy next door.

But her greatest passion has always been the water. She craves late night swims under the stars, where she can be alone yet belong to the sea. Lately she's had company. Penn, Thea, and Lexi spend their nights dancing, singing, and partying on the cove - and one night Gemma joins them. When she wakes up groggy on the beach the next morning, she knows something has changed. Suddenly Gemma is stronger, faster, and more beautiful than ever. As she uncovers the truth about her new mythical powers, Gemma is forced to choose between staying with those she loves or entering a dark world brimming with unimaginable secrets.

Brilliant story but audio quality was bad

The story was fantastic and the performance was wonderful but unfortunately the audio kept skipping and cutting out in certain parts.

Amazing

This book was done beautifully and is as entrancing as the siren song. You Need to listen to.

A new take on sirens

This is a story that is not exactly perfect and the main girl Gemma can act a bit like a spoilt brat at times and does not always seem to understand that her sister has given up a lot for her. The relationship between the sisters is something that is very believable but Harper and the boy next door are meant to be best friends and it doesn't always seem that way.
For me I would like to hear about the bad girls of the story what motivates them and why they stay loyal to each other. Very little is known about them and it just seems a bit strange that no one wonders about them.
It's still a good story but while it has a bit of Greek mythology inside the story it has been changed to make the book more believable I believe is the word I am looking for.
