Summary
A feather for my nest....
My financial situation is beyond desperate and that stripper pole is looking better and better, but I refuse to put on the baby oil just yet. There’s got to be some other way to break this job-jinx.
Luck is not on my side - until I spot the Crow’s feather. The wind - like my life - is against me and decides to try and keep me from my prize. I follow it. I really want that feather, and end up at this gloomy, creepy building that I don't recall ever seeing before.
And as fate would have it.... There's a now hiring sign on the front gate.
This book is a slow-burn urban fantasy with a dash of unconventional romance.

Oh wow what a great story. I am totally hooked. Great narrator. Just really pleasantly surprised. Very different from the usual trope. Can't wait for the next one@

A very interesting story
I don't often listen to the girl, sci-fi books. This caught my eye when I read a review somewhere that said, "So glad I found this!" It's a very solid start to what could be a great series. I see it was just released in Audible and am kind of disappointed that the other books in the series are not yet recorded. I love the way the author writes fleshes out the characters. Very nuanced. Looking forward to future episodes in the series.
