Summary

Grocery shopping. Soccer practice. Dirty dishes. Motherhood is tough, and it often feels like the to-do list just gets longer and longer every day - making it hard to experience true joy in God, our children, and the gospel. In this encouraging book for frazzled moms, Gloria Furman helps us reorient our vision of motherhood around what the Bible teaches. Showing how to pursue a vibrant relationship with God - even when discouragement sets in and the laundry still needs to be washed - this book will help you treasure Christ more deeply no matter how busy you are.

Excellent

Bible saturated book with relatable and relevant illustrations and applications for mothers. Recommend to mums who desire to honour the Lord in all they do. I also enjoyed the way Gloria Furman writes.

It ministered to my heart

Gloria,

Thank you so much for allowing the Lord to use you as His tool. Your writing ministered to my heart and was exactly what I needed to hear as a wife and mother, but most importantly a daughter of the one true King. Blessings to you and your family. I look forward to reading your other writings!

Fulfilling

I wasn’t sure what to expect so had none, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but I gave it a try. I was blessed. It is often said but sadly not done but the older women shall teach the younger. Thank you for your sharing of your experience and wisdom you blessed this MAMA!😌😉

Life changing

This book gets down to the very core of motherhood, in fact the very core of human existence: to love God and enjoy him always.
Mothers, please drop what you’re doing right now and start reading/listening to this, you will not be sorry that you did!

Lovely

The beautiful worst written by the author paired with the narrator’s lovely voice we’re such a delight.

Meh!

I struggled to get past the first chapter.

It was like listening to the inner monolog of someone who feels like they're never good enough Or has serious depression. I didn't find it uplifting. And in odd way I felt like The author wears her self deprecating attitude as a crown of achievement.

Great book! I would recommend to all Moms!

It caused me to think about the beautiful moments during the journey of Motherhood yet caused me to think about the goal of my Christian walk. All of it for the glory of God through Christ Jesus.

a great book for every Christian mother

this book is filled with reminders of God's grace and mercy for when one feels overwhelmed with the, sometimes, mundane tasks of motherhood.

Good Message

This book has a good message that reads a bit like a sermon. I liked the content overall, but it never grabbed my attention and drew me in. It seemed to lack focus but was encouraging and full of scripture. It wasn't bad, just not my "language", I suppose.

Exactly what I needed.

Sometimes as mamas we go through seasons of “is this all to life?” and this book is what I needed to uplift me and refocus me on the joys and blessings of motherhood. Excellent read. Its short but to the point. Loved the Scriptures being read and quoted. Biblical truth all over this read!
