About this listen
How much trouble can Elizabeth get into on a walk in the woods? Despite the fear of injury, Elizabeth Bennet risks all to save a stranger, unaware that the threat to her person will be overshadowed by the threat to her future. Faced with doing what is right or what he would prefer, Mr. Darcy proves he is a gentleman by choosing the path of right, but will that choice prove disastrous?

A huge treat.
This book is a huge treat. The story is immensely enjoyable, the characters are amazing and feel wonderfully real, and the narration by Benjamin Fife is absolutely outstanding.
A review copy of this book was sent to me by the narrator. All of the above opinions are my own.

likeable premise
Really liked idea of book, goof reviews on the whole and I liked the idea of bringing Darcy and Elizabeth together in such a way but the majority of characters are thoroughly unlikeable for over half of the book. locked in their own prejudices which if some of the actions were to have taken place such as marrying Elizabeth for her noble actions makes it completely unbelievable, and with minimal communication between the main characters until over half way through just constant descriptions of why they thought prejudiced unwavering thoughts . I finished the book but considered a few times whether it was worth it. narrator was decent. it is quite rare I leave a review and having listened to about 50 variations the majority being good this is only the second I have reviewed with a negative review.
