Summary

A Ischiano Scalo il mare c'è ma non si vede. In questa periferica maremma di paludi e zanzare, di bar e casette affacciate sul nulla di una strada provinciale si svolgono due storie d'amore. Pietro e Gloria sono due ragazzini. Lei è figlia di un direttore di banca, è sveglia, bella e sicura di sé. Lui è figlio di un pastore psicopatico, è introverso, sognatore, e la vittima preferita dei bulli del paese.

Graziano Biglia è tornato a Ischiano, con la sua fama di chitarrista sciupafemmine e il cuore spezzato da una cubista. Qui conosce la professoressa Flora Palmieri, una donna sola e misteriosa che ha rinunciato alla propria vita per prendersi cura della madre. E tra i due, in apparenza lontani come i pianeti di due galassie, nasce un'attrazione. Una folla di creature strambe e grottesche si muove attorno ai protagonisti, come nella scia di un vento elettrico e vorticoso.
