Summary
Prepare for your latest obsession....
The addictive new thriller from the Sunday Times bestselling author of Friend Request.
Sasha North has gone missing.
Everyone says she's run away, but I know better. We've been best friends since we were teenagers, since Sasha swept into the neighbourhood and brought colour to my life. Until a brutal attack changed both our lives forever.
I know what happened that night. I know who wants revenge.
And if Sasha has been taken, does that mean I'm next?
Critic reviews
"An uncomfortably tense thriller combined with a well-observed coming-of-age tale." (Caz Frear, best-selling author of Sweet Little Lies)
"A compulsive psychological thriller with compelling characters and a twisty plot." Jenny Quintana, best-selling author of The Missing Girl)
"I raced through this, genuinely unable to put it down. Another brilliant, compelling novel." (Karen Hamilton, best-selling author of The Perfect Girlfriend)

When is it going to Happen!
I found this book so Slow to get Started the Performance was good
but the Story was Lacking There was some Action eventually at the End
The Obsession with the Friend kind of didn’t go anywhere it was like when you Light a Damp firework that spits and fizzes But doesn’t Take Off.
The Narcissistic meanderings of the Mother Ended abruptly with very little explanation. The trip to the Attic could of been used better in building Suspense,For me the Suspense was lacking, I was left wondering if it was me,have I lost the ability to empathise or relate however isn’t that the writers responsibility to make the Characters relatable.

Was a good book
Was a little disappointed as I chose this after friend request. It was a good story but not as good in respect of twists and turns. Still very good in respect of the plot and the ending! Would recommend it.

Good storyline, kept me interested.
I enjoyed this audiobook, but as others have mentioned, the sound was quite erratic, too muffled then blasting out loud.
Narrators pretty good, Anna Bentinck always brilliant, others ok, but not sure the voices of Ellen and Corrina reflected their current age very well.
Overall, pretty good and worth a listen.

enjoyable
enjoyable story but I found the volume a bit temperamental. It would be very soft and then suddenly got a bit shouty and then back down.
other than that I enjoyed listening to this book
