Summary
A tree’s memory is long. Magic’s memory is longer, and far more dangerous.
After a century spent as a tree, Finn awakens into a world she barely recognizes. Dark shapes lurk just out of sight, watching her every move as she tries to regain the memories of her past. As if by fate, travelers are drawn to her side. Scholars, thieves, and Iseult, a sellsword who seems to know more about her past than he’s letting on. When one of Finn’s companions is taken by the Faie, she will be forced to make a choice: rescue a woman she barely knows, or leave her newfound friends behind in search of an ancient relic that may hold the answers she so desperately seeks.
Enter a world of enchantment, filled with Celtic lore, magic, and just a touch of romance. Now a complete series!

Double edge sword
I love these stories! They’re well written and keep you on your toes throughout the entire book. The characters all have more depth than you realize and that makes you want to know more.
By buying the first two books together I assumed that they would both be read by the same person. I was totally satisfied with the first narrator. But the second paled in comparison to the first. Knowing how much better the performance could have been, kind of ruined the second book.

First reader is A+
The second reader has been a huge disappointment compared.
Sorry is interesting and a bit unique. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the first book.

Good series so far
Romance, action and magic make for some good adventures and betrayals. I enjoyed the narration of book one because the emotion and distinction plus a slower pace made the story better. The lightning speed of the narrator in book two was annoying as was the decided lack of emotion. Overall the books are good and I look forward to book three.

I use my Audible library to remedy my insomnia.
I've no clue what this is about. But the pace, narrators voice and subject matter knocks me right out every time. I get to listen to it again like I've never heard it before. Julia Farer does well and Hollie Jackson is one of my fav's.

A great new series
I really enjoyed listening to the beginning of this series and was tickled I got two books for one. I liked the amount of characters in the story, because there is someone for everybody to relate to. You can tell the author is setting this series up to be able to last. There’s a lot going on in the story, with multiple plot lines that eventually tie together. I enjoyed seeing the characters mix and match with other characters and seeing the different interactions. Extremely well written with a beautiful storyline and world. Still so much left to uncover! Definitely will continue the series! Can’t wait for more! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Narrator #2 destroyed the 2nd book.
I am going to pass on finishing book 2. The 2nd narrator made it unlistenable. First time in over 400 books. I gave it an honest try...

Excellent story, Interesting concept
Love the main character, though there are really several main characters as book goes on. I am interested in listening to the next book in this series. Author writes a well thought out story and Narrator was very good. Highly recommend this combination of book 1&2 great price 2 books for 1 credit.
