Anxiety and communication
This book was recommended to me by my friend at college. She knew that I went through a nasty fight with my family recently and wanted to help me as much as she could. She advised “The Teen Girl’s Anxiety Survival Guide” by Elaine A. Hendrickson – so here I am! I was very skeptical, as I did not think I had many issues or had been in a toxic environment. However, after listening to this audiobook thoroughly, I realized how wrong I was about that. I needed to learn about anxiety to truly understand my emotions, where they are coming from, and how to deal with them. If it was not for the author, narrator, and my friend, I would still be miserable and dealing with belittlement.

Made me understand myself better
It takes time for most people to realize something like anxiety is affecting them. For example, it always felt normal when I thought no one loved me. But after this audiobook set was suggested to me by my counselor, I realized that not only is it not normal, but it is very, very wrong. I am loved, and my anxiety and my own fears convinced me otherwise. Now that I know this, I’ve addressed it in my sessions. Thanks to this brilliant set, I finally feel like I am wanted and am improving my relationships with people. Just remember, it all takes time.

An excellent choice
This book was an excellent choice. Elaine A. Hendrickson has opened my eyes to how lazy I was with my self-care. I stopped trying, my communication with friends was lacking, and I struggled to keep myself happy. Now, I am going through this audiobook, learning how to be a better me!

A handy guide to teen issues
Like the author says: do not hide your feelings. It will only worsen things for yourself and your friends or family. Instead, grab a handy guide such as this one and let it advise you on what you can do to improve your relationships with people and beat your anxiety using real tried and tested methods. From growing into a more confident person to dealing with the pressure of academics, you will certainly gain important knowledge from this well-written audiobook. Trust in the author – from what I learned from this book, you can be certain she did plenty of research to provide you with the best advice that, at least for me, has worked substantially well!

An eye-opening ride
Just like my title suggests, this audiobook by Elaine A. Hendrickson is a real eye-opening ride from start to finish. I had no idea that my anxiety was affecting me so much, nor that it was something I could learn to manage and even get completely past. Since getting this audiobook, I have followed its advice and listened to it constantly to improve. It is pretty well written and backs itself up consistently without contradictions. However, if you do not believe me, get it and try it yourself - you won’t regret it. The best listen for everybody - girl or not! It will help with your anxiety and help you learn.

Be open with yourself
“How Not to Deal With Anxiety” and “How to Live Your Life With More Confidence?” are truly brilliant chapters. I did not know how important it is to be open with yourself and how easily one can become more confident. I had no idea how to go about the bad ways of dealing with anxiety, but thanks to this audiobook, I now have the idea!

Helps deal with issues
When I got diagnosed with generalized anxiety, I had no idea how to handle it. Alongside that, I come with a lot of baggage (PTSD included), so I thought getting this would benefit me and my education. I am very impressed with this audiobook, and thanks to it, I am working on myself 24/7!

Difficult
The narrator was difficult to understand. The information was helpful but had to listen to it several times to understand.
Pronunciation was incorrect for key words for overall messages.

An in-depth guide
Despite being a fairly loud teen, I have had fewer real friends than I care to admit, with most of them being A-grade toxic. Therefore, I am delighted with this audiobook and all the author's advice. She went in-depth into various topics I needed aid in, including anxiety and depression. For that, I simply have to give it five stars.
