Summary

The third thrilling adventure thriller featuring Archaeologist Nina Wilde, in which Nina must find Excalibur, King Arthur's beloved sword.

Said to make whoever holds it unstoppable in battle, the sword Excalibur has been coveted across the ages and thought lost for more than a thousand years. With a cryptic message to Archaeologist Nina Wilde, this may be about to change.

Historian Bernd Rust believes he can locate Excalibur...and that the sword is the key to harnessing an incredible source of energy. Nina is sceptical - until she and Rust are attacked by mercenaries determined to steal his research.

Nina and her boyfriend, ex-SAS soldier Eddie Chase, are soon propelled into a deadly race to find Excalibur.

From the deserts of Syria to the Arctic wastes of Russia, Nina and Chase must battle a merciless enemy who plans to use the sword's powers to plunge the world into a new era of war....

Fact or Fiction

Chase and Nina embark on the search for Excalibur
The Russians and a double agent come into play and Chase and Nina fall into the trap. A great read, lots of twists and turns, will they stop another war. Highly recommended. Now off to the next book in the series, I can't wait. Strong language so if this offends you, perhaps it's not for you.

Series is really getting good

I really liked the previous books, but in my opinion, this book is where it really addicting. The author did a fantastic job with molding the story with plenty of action and incorporating the comedy from a sitcom.

Absolutely amazing narration and great action/adventure!

On the third book in the Chase/Wilde series and I cannot stop listening!
Simon Mattacks narration is so increadable you’d think there was an entire ensemble cast. My only huge disappointment now is that after the next book the narrator has changed and he is so bad I cannot listen to the rest of the series.
Please, please, please redo the rest of the series with Simon Mattacks narration!!!
