Summary

This volume completes the papers left to Annie Besant by H.P. Blavatsky with the exception of a few scattered articles. Annie had the difficult task of publishing hundreds of notes as this third volume, and while only making grammatical corrections and filling in some gaps, she did her best to leave these as written. Included are many papers on the origin and danger of magic, the occult, secret mysteries, initiations, symbolism, historical figures and organizations, various religions, and scientific principles.

Esoteric gold mine...

From start to finish Blavatsky has ushered forth an enormous wealth of information. Can't wait to read/listen to Isis Unveiled... Perhaps one of the best books to connect the dots to things left untouched by those whom only dwell on the physical....

Rich, Challenging book, poor narration/editing.

I am grateful that someone has tackled this series. This is not an entry level book, not a book you buy as a light read, more like a hybrid of a textbook and a holy text. You will still need to buy the physical book. The narrator does not intone correctly. Most sentences sound to be questions when they are written as a statement. This is also known as upspeak, and it is more than just a little annoying since changing a period into a question mark changes the entire meaning of a sentence. YOU MUST BUY THE BOOK OTHERWISE YOU HAVE NO IDEA IN WHICH WAY THE TEXT WAS PERVERTED.
Dozens of common place English words are routinely mispronounced even though the narrator’s accent sounds completely American.
Do not listen to while driving. Even though the content is a wonderful challenge of parables, it will make you very sleepy due to the voice.
The editing mistakes bring a bit of levity.
Another challenge of this being an audiobook is that the physical book is rich in diagrams, charts, tables etc. Even an ace narrator wouldn’t have a popsicle’s chance in hell at describing those in a very valuable way.
