Had to get my old head round it
Think I was more into book 1 but still excellent and think I’m going to read the last couple of chapters again to get it right in my head, before going onto book 3 . Finally a good ending but of course we all know that won’t last 😜

Excellent sequel
I listened to the first in this series and enjoyed it start to finish, sometimes a sequel falls short but in this case definitely not the case. Without spoiling it for listeners the twist at the end is unexpected but with hindsight and only following the explanation given in the story there were very subtle hints dropped earlier. As usual an excellent performance by AA.

Just brilliant
Absolutely loved it , waited so long and didn’t disappoint. I tried to make it last longer and not listen so much but couldn’t help listen at every opportunity. Best listen for a long time . Just a shame they take so long in between books .

So good!
Kerry Barnes seemed to have come out of nowhere! Her stories are brilliant and she definitely rivals the legend that is Martina Cole. Good twists and turns in this book. Made even better by Annie aldington, who is hands down my favourite narrator. She does the most brilliant voices, you actually forget only one person is speaking! Very excited for her future books and I really hopes she sticks with Annie.

Love Kerry Barnes recent books
I found this a bit slow to start with, then half way through it got a lot better.
Not her best book but still good story.
Annie aldington does great narration as always

The best Author/narrator and storyline ever
Please, please,please keep continuing this series as its better than Cole/Chambers/Kray/Kellahers ps I dont dont normally do reviews but the last 2 books have been absolutely excellent, what a creative mind who manages to alter the status quo of the tired repetitive genre.
Kerry if your looking to let me critique your next book, please give me a shout.
