Summary
From the author of 2017's The Memory Watcher, which has been optioned by NBC Universal/UCP with Escape Artists attached to produce.
She's my roommate.
I know how she takes her tea, how she organizes her closet.
I know when she goes to bed each night, what she eats for breakfast, the passcode on her phone.
I know she calls her mother on Mondays, takes barre on Thursdays, and meets her friends for drinks on Fridays.
But more important than any of that...I know what she did.

MINKA ROCKS!!!
You really need to do yourself a favor and read Minka Kent. She makes you understand her characters, and this woman can throw a curveball plot twist like no one else. Every word counts and if it doesn't contribute to her vision, she mercilessly edits until we're left with am action packed novel without the fluff. I've read both books and she's the real deal!

If you are a teenager you might like this book
No surprises . Boring and predictable. Don’t waste a credit here. Narration is ok but I think she had a cold in Last hour of it.

Good story
Really enjoyed this story and was surprised where it led - I like to be surprised! The narration was well suited to the character and believable - however I found it a bit funny when half way through the book, the narrator was obviously suffering from a cold as she actually sniffles a few times and often ran out of breath. It didn't ruin the story, I just found it humorous that they didn't fix it on the recording. Overall a solid book.

So bad.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought this was an adult novel?? The story is so juvenile and underdeveloped. The characters are shallow and boring. The story attempts to be mysterious but it hovers on both predictable and irrelevant. The narrator has really weird pauses where you can hear her swallowing her spit and it’s distracting. I would definitely not recommend this book.

Enjoyed the Read
I liked the Memory Watcher a little more, but I think it was because of the subject matter. The writing was just as well done. This author is very promising, and does well with holding the reader's interest. I also could identify with the inner dialogue of the narrator, which is always a pleasant little surprise.

Very enjoyable!
Ok I saw all the ‘you may like it if you’re a teenager’ comments but I really enjoyed the heck out of this book. It was about a college girl but I didn’t think it was a teen book at all. No goofy romance or anything and I was surprised about some of the twists. The actor was very good and did all the voices well.
Honestly, Audible should give us the first chapter as a sample like Kindle does, instead of being forced to buy the whole book on a 2-3 minute listen you can’t even download. I’m tired of getting books I don’t like within a chapter and Audible being ridiculous about returns. Easily remedied by Audible and customers would be much more satisfied. Are you listening Audible? Do better!

Anything but perfect....
The major problem with this book is that it is not an adult fiction book -- it is a Young Adult(YA) book.
"Is she my friend?" , "Does he like me?" These are two questions that are repeatedly asked by the main character. There were also references made about the main character's "messy bun". This whole book felt very "young adult" to me and I was not seeking a YA book.

Mostly a Good Listen
The story was a little slow and the narration had a few long pauses that threw me off, but other than that, I enjoyed it.
