Narrator is absolutely awful.

Jenny Blackhurst has written several excellent books so I was really looking forward to hearing The Night She Died. Sadly, after endeavouring to listen to it many, many times, I have given up. I’ve found the narrator’s attempt at a northern accent, and in particular, the faux French screeching ones, unbelievably irritating. Therefore I am unable to give this book the fair review it probably deserves. Such a shame.
