Reads like a Good Suspense Novel...

...despite not actually claiming to be a suspense novel. The suspense is built around the anticipated coming together of 4 completely separate domestic/family stories - stories of 4 separate people. Beautifully crafted, plenty of emotion. There's even the possibility of a murder at one point. Plenty of cliff hangers at the end of each chapter as we switch to one of the other 4 stories, eventually leading to a very satisfactory ending. I'm a fan of Lisa Jewell, and I'm pleased to say that this latest book is up there with her best.

not sure about this one.

I enjoyed this book at first but have to say I struggled in the middle and got a little bored. I usually love Lisa jewell but this one wasn't for me.

I've never been more bored

This book had first been categorized as a mystery thriller which is why I'd purchased it. It's not a mystery thriller so I'm glad it's been put in the appropriate category although I do feel mislead. I normally enjoy the author's books but this was a miss for me and I'll be returning. So incredibly boring.

Too far fetched for me.

This book started off with lots of potential and I hoped the twists and turns would take me on a magical journey. Unfortunately, the book was a little far fetched for me and some subjects touched a nerve. So sadly not one I would recommend.

Sweet

I love Lisa’s books and downloaded this one hoping to love it as well. This book is sweet but nothing really anymore, no gripping storyline or excitement. I enjoyed it but wouldn’t recommend to people looking for the usual Lisa Jewell mystery she is famous for.

Great listen

I found the characters varied and interesting and the main element of the story was something I have not heard covered before in fiction. The way individuals were affected was well thought out and the story surprised me (which Is good) On occasions I assumed things would go in one direction but they went in a different and better direction.
It was well read and the different characters stood out well with their different accents voiced well.
