Fun story, horrid music
Ugh. The drum/guitar at the beginning, ending and sometimes middle of every chapter is too loud, too harsh and doesn’t work with the story.
The story is fun, voices are done very well and a believable story.

Devoured the whole 11 podcasts in one listen!
This is an awesome book in podcast form that explores & explains the very different lives & view points of 4 amazing ladies along with the views of their female relatives & even their male relationships! It’s funny, sad, angry, scary, empowering every single emotion is touched on throughout the 11 episodes as well as relationship & tensions between mother daughter & men -oh the men as well as so so much more! This is an edge of your seat screaming don’t do that to your playing device or laughing out loud so much so you draw attention of others. I pulled for Don from the beginning & just hoped Lou would get her s—t straight before the end. With the things left as they were I feel a part 2 would be great with another 11+ Eps. Showcasing the loose ends not completely tied up in the 1st series. Plus I so loved Don. He so much more manly than Lou’s other men she still has no idea what a real man can do esp when your hearts are in the mix! She just hasn’t ever been loved by a real man!! Please write a part 2 or atleast a few for chapters! The writing is awesome the narration perfectly done by each reader brings the characters to life! The only thing I wish were different was the intro and outro tune lengths the rest was perfection great job y’all!

Great story horrible sound effects
The story and narrators were great but the sound quality was horrible. For a great deal of the story crickets are heard in the background, which is fine but they were so loud it made it difficult to hear the actual characters speaking. It was almost annoying enough to stop listening entirely.

Hard to hear
The music it Loud and unnecessary. It’s very distracting. The back round noise also over power the characters and you can’t hear them at various points

Ok
Music was annoying. Liked the characters. Found some of the situations not quite believable. A good listen for a long car ride.

Stupid music! Semi entertaining
Somewhat entertaining story. Not enough important details and some silly whimsy lines. Wish the women were more empowered by themselves and not so whiny at times. But passed the time.

Cheesy soap opera
Couldn’t even finish the first episode. Not my cup of tea. The performance and the story are melodramatic and uninspiring.

Musical accompaniment most annoying
Could not continue due to the grating musical interludes which were a detraction. Was it really necessary??
