Story
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Tomorrow by Damian Dibben, read by George Blagden. Tomorrow tells the story of a 217-year-old dog and his search for his lost master. His adventures take him through the London Frost Fair, the strange court of King Charles I, the wars of the Spanish succession, Versailles, the Golden Age of Amsterdam, 19th-century Venice and the Battle of Waterloo. As he journeys through Europe, he befriends both animals and humans, falls in love (only once), marvels at the human ability to make music, despairs at their capacity for war and gains insight into both the strength and frailties of the human spirit.

Great idea good story interesting development
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
It was a good book and I have listened to it three times I love the idea behind how they time travel and that the book tries to describe historical places and time periods. Though these descriptions only partially are based on historical time periods it is nice to see that this book at least follows it a little.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Though not a big character Rose was so funny I loved her. The other Character I loved was Topas it is nice to have a good female character that actually has a interesting story behind her.
What aspect of Simon Shepherd’s performance might you have changed?
Maybe skip the Italian accent.
Could you see The History Keepers: The Storm Begins being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?
Move yes tv series no.
Any additional comments?
Though he is ok in this book I feel that Jake in general is very stupid and it is bugging me.

Dull
The narrator is good. That's it. I couldn't finish it. I think it must have been written for children. The style is child-like and boring. Slow moving and I kept going to sleep. Good for insomniacs but not for me. Sorry.

Maybe I wasn't the right audience...
This was very clearly a book aimed at 12-15 year olds, which I am not, but I generally enjoy a good time travelling adventure so gave it a go.
It was not for me, in this case, and there were a few moments that made me cringe or roll my eyes that I'm pretty sure my 15 year old self might have agreed with.
That being said, it was a decent book. It just wasn't great, and I personally felt it missed the mark.

Good, worth a listen
I quite enjoyed the story, not one of my favourites, but still pretty good, definitely worth a listen especially if you like history and Adventure stories, though not fully sure on what earer the story took part in has no good on my history dates or pretty good with my history outside of England unless it's the Romans, Vikings or some general period that might of come up in films or stories.
