Lots of suspense
I’ve heard so much praise for this author and now I’ve listened to my first series. These are my thoughts:
This was a story filled with suspense and I enjoyed it but it was long an also filled with inner dialogues. Normally I like inner dialogues but in these books there’s too much. I feel like the inner dialogues makes me know the characters better but there’s got to be balance. When there’s too much it gets boring and repetitive.
This is what I liked:
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues between the characters
The storyline is very good and has good progression
Carrie and Mark has a sweet love story building through the book and the chemistry between them is emotional and intense.
Narrator:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings

Coming Home
The Coming Home series box set was a great thrill and suspense. This was a full of passion and drama. Carrie Myerson is in the middle of it all. This story can get a little cheesy and could do with much substance. I loved the twist and turns and the ups and downs. A perfect performance by Savannah Peachwood.

Meli Raine does it again!
Being a huge romantic suspense fan, I could not wait to sink my teeth into this series. I love they are boxed together, so I can binge the whole story at once, and not get caught with a cliffhanger(and yes, between the books, there are a lot of unanswered questions and dramatic cliffhangers!) Carrie has come home to a new job and to clear her father's name. Now that he has passed away, she is determined to right the wrong done to him and make the guilty pay. But coming home has it's own costs. Seeing her boyfriend, Mark, that she just up and left as well as the mess that was created by the false charges brought against her father all weigh heavy with her. Carrie doesn't let it stop her though. Now that she is home, she is determined and what she finds out is nothing that she expects! Death, kidnapping, drugs, and a long line of unexpected betrayals are faced. But will she be doing this all alone? Will she and Mark find their way back to each other? Who can Carrie trust? There is an incredible cast of characters, all who as you listen, will leave you wondering whose side they are on, who is the mastermind and what is going to happen? I know til the very end, there were questions I had. Carrie is an extremely strong and smart woman. She puts her whole heart into this, knowing her father is innocent. She treads lightly though around people, which is smart! Mark is the kind of character I didn't know whether to love or hate. I wanted to think he was a good guy, but there were times I just was not sure., a sign of a great story! Secondary characters, like Claudia, Eric, Amy and Chase all gave us pause as we listened and then the ones we love to hate, like Frenchy and the Dean, making us certain of who we are up against. It's a great listen, had me completely entrenched in the outcome and I absolutely loved it!
Narrated by the talented Savannah Peachwood, the story flows with a multitude of characters and voices. She is amazing with her delivery, giving us the horrific feels right along with the love and tenderness. She gave an amazing performance.

The Coming Home Series
This is my second series by Meli Raine. Even though her series are all separate, they appear to all be interconnected as well. I wish I had known that when I started listening to these so that I could have listened to them in order instead of backwards. Either way, they are all very good. I really love that all three books are sold as a box set so it only costs one credit instead of three. That alone makes this book quite a bargain. Then there is also the fact that it is well-written and jam packed full of suspense, danger, mystery, secrets and lies, twists and turns, and hot and sexy characters. Savannah Peachwood did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves romantic suspense.

Box set
I love listening to box sets .. no waiting for sequels :). This was a well written somewhat suspenseful novel. The three books follow one couple. Carrie and Mark. The story was really interesting and written well. The characters were like able. The narration was really good.

I really loved this one! This is my first read of Meli Raine and I've heard great things and I'm glad I went in blind. I don't think I've read this type of story opener (you'll have to read to find out why). Ohhhh I can't wait to find out what will happen to old flames Mark and Carrie. Beware that cliffy is going to make you jump into book 2 asap.
Revenge (Coming Home, #2):
5 stars:
Oh boy things are really starting to move along! OMG and we find things about Mark that were a bit unexpected and finally their relationship is progressing along! Onto the finale!
Reunion (Coming Home, #3):
5 stars:
wow, did this go into an action packed direction. Mark is such a sweet guy and I almost wish there is a bonus epilogue for Carrie and Mark. Its sad to see this couple go!
Savannah Peachwood did an amazing job narrating.

Coming home series
Definitely a dark and twisted suspense thriller series that will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Make sure you don’t have any triggers as it does get a bit past comfortable. The narration by Savannah Peachwood was amazing, another tried-and-true favorite.

Awesome series by Meli Raine
This box set contains the three books in the Coming Home series (Return, Revenge and Reunion) written by Meli Raine and narrated by Savannah Peachwood. First, all of these books have cliffhangers, but the best part about a boxset, is you can immediately press play, instead of waiting for the next book. This is actually my first boxset, where I hadn’t already previously read/listened to the book and I enjoyed it so much. In fact, I may have added several more boxsets to my wishlist, immediately after finishing this one. I love Carrie and Mark and I loved that their past history played a huge part in their current interactions. I particularly enjoyed how those interactions changed over the course of the 3 books. Savannah Peachwood is AMAZING. I have heard her 2-3x before this and I didn’t realize just how good she was until this boxset. She completely brings the characters to life and the energy she brings the story actually lightens what could be considered a darker storyline.
All in all, good storyline and characters + fabulous narration = 4 1/2 ⭐️
