Summary
“The Saint” has returned for his abandoned bride.
Mirabella can hardly remember the man she married as a girl to settle a gaming debt between their fathers. And it’s just as well. She feels nothing but contempt for the man who wed her for her fortune and promptly forgot she existed. The ton may call him “The Saint” but Bella knows better.
Forced to marry as a teen to rescue his family from certain ruin, Sebastian has been apart from his child bride since their wedding day. When he encounters an enchanting impish beauty at the opera, he is thrilled to find that she is none other than his long-ago bride, and he is more than ready to make her his wife in truth.
Too bad the beguiling beauty has no intention of coming meekly to the marriage bed.

Better as a listen than a read
I read and enjoyed this book before I listened to it on audible. If I proves on narration, and John Hartley’s performance as. Narrator gives extra depth and life to the whole.

Be tempted!
Such a good read! I found it entertaining and well written. Not filled with angst or tear jerking sadness.
The story was not typical and definitely held a surprise or two.
I’m not a big fan of male narrators, I simply don’t enjoy the way a deep male voice sounds when it’s trying to portray women. This wasn’t so bad… and I suppose it’s personal preference anyway. I loved his voice in general, and for the most part I never got confused as to who was speaking. I’d say it was a very good performance.
Narration: a personal choice, listen to the snippet!
Creditworthiness: definitely worth a credit!
Heat Factor: a few bold sex scenes definitely steamed things up for a moment.
