Summary

This summary contains the essential teachings and important critiques from the original copy.

Number one New York Times best seller: "Significant.... The book is both instructive and surprisingly moving." - The New York Times

Ray Dalio has been called both "the Steve Jobs of investing" and "the philosopher king of the financial universe".

Please note: This is a summary, analysis, and review of the book and not the original book: Principles: Life and Work by Ray Dalio. This audiobook is meant as a great companion to the original book or to simply get the gist of the original book.

In Principles: Life and Work, Ray Dalio shares what he's learned over the course of his remarkable career. He argues that life, management, economics, and investing can all be systematized into rules and understood like machines.

Better.me Summaries is a company that provides accessible knowledge to people who craves development. Summaries are made for three types of people: first, the ones who listened to the audiobook and want to have a quick recap of the main points. Second, people who read the whole book and wants to deepen their understanding with a summarized version. Third, people who want to know if it's worth it to buy the actual book and prefer to do a quick scan just to make sure.

Impossible to listen!

You will waste 2 hours of your life if you download this. I gave it the chance even the audio example was there. It is narrated by computer not a human. Every sentence has the same rhythm which makes it impossible to listen.

Avoid the Summary

Last time I order a summary of a book. The most boring thing I’ve heard in some time. I’m sure the book itself is much better.
