Summary

Good but very 'abridged'

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

It's been cut down to more of a short story than a book. Action is good and fast-paced, story is good but the characters lack depth.

Shame its abridged

The narration is good and i loved this series in print, but its always a shock trying an abridged version of a much loved book. Its just a shame they cut out so much.

Loved reading this series as a kid. disappointed that 1. the books are heavily abridged and 2.There are missing books. Otherwise absolutely love the books and Mr. Lloyd was an excellent narrator.

Missing 3/4 of the book

This was the worst purchase/use of a credit ever. Nowhere in the description does it say this a summary of the book. Over 3/4 of the story content is missing. This version offers no story and this story detracts from the next books in the series as character development is completely lost. I want my monthly credit back.

Charlie Bass Rules

A great story and a great set of central characters. If you are looking for the great american novel, then look elsewhere. If you are looking for a good tale, that keeps the action moving then get this audio book . I liked it so much I went out and bought the paperback. I am going to buy the second book soon. I encourge you to do the same. Charlie Bass rules!

Starfist first to fight

They cut so much of the story off that it was not worth the cost of buying this book. I have over 40 books and this is the worst I’ve ever had that they have offered. If they offer any more of this type books, I will definitely stop my subscription.

ABRIDGED

An abridged version of this story is a travesty. All this book provided was the beginning, middle, and end. Almost no context is provided in a story that had significant character building that crosses the entire series.
It's so unsatisfying.
