Summary

Balancing love and work was never this tough back on Earth!

If you would have told me a month ago that I'd be a dragon superhero living in a domed fantasy city in outer space, I'd have laughed in your face. If you added the detail that I'd have three awesomely cute roommates competing for my attention, I'd thank you for believing in me...but remain skeptical.

Yet those things are both true, and life just keeps getting weirder, wilder, and more awesome. Well—mostly awesome. Turns out my unicorn roommate's soul is merged with an unhinged high elf in the same way I'm fused with my dragon half. That's bad enough, but the elf in question has a rather...unhealthy fixation on yours truly.

The police commissioner is pretty fixated, too. He's a solid ally, but he and his spunky assistant sure do keep me busy, and it turns out he's got a rather troublesome daughter. The capsule doctor who brought me to Meteoropolis isn't letting up on the pressure much, either. Stress is high, but living with my new family in our renovated home sure is a great stress reliever.

I love it.

I really love this series, and the second book is a great addition to it. In my opinion, one of the strangest and weirdly wholesome harems there is. Which is a good thing. I can only recommend this book.

Fantastic second book

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.

Genre: Sci-fi Harem romance slice of life with some super hero aspects

Power dynamics in harem: Everyone has strong opinions, but MC is the central character
Explicit/adult material: Explicit, hot. More focus on the relationships, but present and explicit. Monster girls/furries.

Summary:
Brock now has a harem and is a superhero of the city. Between his 3 girls, their aspirations as an esports team, his work as a superhero and the new people that are starting to notice him.
Brock has his hands full. But life has plans for him and he will soon meet some people eager to get rid of him and others eager to see him satisfied.

Narrators
Voice diversity: The voice diversity is very good and the voices fit the characters very well. Impressive for a solo narration.
Pacing and intonation: So much heart and soul has been poured into the narration and it shows.
Sex scenes: Hot.
Alyssa poon does a fantastic work solo narrating this book.
Overall: 4.5 / 5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- The writing. It is fun, I care for and about the characters, there are a ton of fun references, it doesn't take itself seriously and it is just a good time!
- The girls have agency and go for what they want. It is so nice to read harem stories where the girls are not just passive objects to conquer.
- The new girls are interesting and I look forward to getting to know them even better
- Blossom really blossomed in this second book, she is fuggin' amazing.
- I really enjoyed the tournament and hope that the girls play keep being important to them.
- The narration

The book’s weaknesses.
- Not a weakness of the book, but trying to grasp at something: I am slightly worried that the super hero aspects of the story will become too dominant in future books. I am loving the slice of life, and would hate for it to get overshadowed.

Overall: 5/5 stars
Virgil Knightley does it again! A fantastic follow-up to the first book and I can't wait until the next is out!
