Summary
My parents were brutally murdered when I was five years old. Their killer has spent the last 25 years in prison for his terrible crimes - but I still have unanswered questions. After all, I am the phoenix. When I die, I am reborn in fire and brimstone. It happens again and again and again. I have no idea where my strange ability came from and nobody to ask.
Now another shocking murder has been committed in the small village where my parents died and there is evidence which suggests the killer is supernatural. Loved it
Really enjoying this series. Emma is a powerhouse without the excessive ‘sass’ that seems to be a go to when making a female character appear strong and independent. Her character development is nicely done and enjoyed seeing her reach out and connect to different characters within this story. Go Emma! Onto the next one…

Love this series
As good as the others. Helen just keeps on pulling it out the bag. Still the same characters and happy to say that it doesn't get Samey or boring. ....on to the next book for me.
