An interesting and enjoyable 'read'

Enjoyed this very much. At first I thought it was a simple story, but as it unfolded there was depth to it, encouraging the reader/listener to think about relationships and life in general - a lot of what was being said I felt was still quite relevant today.
Some beautiful and poetic prose to feast on too. I had to allow myself a little time to get into the story, but would recommend it.

Excellent

A very well conceived and written story that was accompanied by an equally strong narrator of this audiobook.

Absolutely Delightful!

A beautiful reading. I usually prefer unabridged readings but after loving 84 Charring Cross by the same reader I decided to fritter my credits...And I was well rewarded! It is delightful - download, you won't be disappointed!

A view and a room

I last read this in my A level year 1973 and I think I understand and appreciate it more in my mid sixties. Of course it’s had two films and a few radio adaptations made since then. I now understand the title. Apart from
Forster’s wonderful writing Juliet Stevenson is her usual brilliant self. Definitely my favourite narrator. I recommend this audible to all of her fans and those who love top class classical English literature.

pure Forster charm...

Despite the "faithful" film adaptation scoring at the top of my most watched movies, the book gives so much more of this charming English story.
I decided on the audio version because of the Narrator. Juliet Stevenson scores 10 out of 10 each and every time.

A classic well narrated

As always Juliet Stephenson narrates perfectly bringing this delightful classic story alive. It is interesting to read about the attitudes and prejudice’s of the era which seem so old fashioned today.

Fabulous narration

Juliet Stevenson brought this novel alive. It was like listening to a Radio 4 drama - superb!
