Great until book 3 then...

First thing first...The narration of these books by Jason Clarke is magnificent. He voices every character so distinctly. His voice...voices are pure catnip. This is narration/ voice acting on the next level.
So this book goes along famously. The first book focuses on Thane...then Anderson....then Rystar. These are college boys who have been through some things and develop a wonderful bromance as they grow in college and learn to add upon their dominant desires. Everyone is all about safe, sane and consensual. The information given as they get into the bdsm world is solid and healthy. There is also a side character who is a budding domme that has a hot if not struggling relationship with the dominant/sadist Rystar. Book 3 is where things go off the rails and all sense of decency leaves the building. I dont have triggers . Rape and most violence doesn't bother me if the people and the world is established as already demented where anything goes. But this is in a supposed learning bdsm safe consensual atmosphere. But if ever a book needed a trigger warning this book needs a HUGE TRIGGER WARNING.

horrible graphic male rape by a domme that is excused and okay'd.
I'm not triggered by rape esp if its an already anything goes type world then so be it but they are learning about how to be doms and practicing safe and consensual behavior..in details. I mean good healthy info in the lifestyle. Then BOOM while they are both under the influence this chick ties him to the bed and goes apeshit...rape (ignoring safe word, consent denied) in vivid detail... beating-drawing blood- forced urethral sounding. And lets say I can overlook this. She comes to her senses and runs away leaving him tied to the bed. It is then excused because she was so drunk she couldn't help it (but had steady enough hands for catheter play). and she "loves" him. While the victim cant be in the same room with her he makes the best friend promise to stay friends with her and monitor her as she goes through her dominant training so it doesn't happen again...and he does. Positive side is she feels really bad and lives with the guilt but is totally accepted in the community and continues to be groomed by another experienced domme to ensure she can be the best domme she can be..letting her gruesomely violent rape of Rystar be a learning tool for everyone..I guess. I cant help but wonder if this is dismissed because it happened to a man. I don't know why the author decided to use this as a plot device. It didn't add anything to the story other than vileness. Not to mention it came out of no where and didnt fit in the tone of the rest of the stories. Plot twist gone wrong. Best case skip chapters 2 and 3 and the epilogue. I did finish all three books. Its just a shame because if i take out the horror of 3 then its a great book.

Wow! Ties the whole Brie series together.

Through an audible purchase, I was completely blown away. This series of the rise of the dominants who all meet and become friends in college and it is so inlightening. The narration is so fantastic that you are drawn into the discovery of BDSM and how all you who follow the Brie series as I do will be so impressed. With audible being presented by the fantastic "Jason Clarke" and "Pippa Jayne" you are drawn into the feeling of being a part of the friendship and family dynamic of these 3 potential dominant masters and lifelong friends. This is the beginning and everything that follows ties the whole BDSM family dynamic together so nice and neat. Also, Mistress Clark will be introduced to you from her young beginnings. I now plan on adding audible to all my Brie stories. Thank you, Red from a big fan and dedicated follower.

Amazing books..

I loved this series and I will be continuing on with Brie’s Submissions.... I ll listen to anything Jason Clarke reads.. That mans voice... 😏 Love Pippa too.

This is one sexy trilogy. The story is hot and the books are exciting. Great story of people finding their BDSM desires.

Loved everything about them.

I loved hearing the whole story on how they came together and the little name drops here and there only added to love of the books. My only wish is that audible does not keep up with as fast as I listen to the books. 🤗

The best of the Bri series yet!

I don't usually write reviews of books, mostly give star ratings, but I needed to talk about these books. I have been listening to the Bri series for a while now and this has to be the best set yet. The background on our favorite Doms gives new perspective to everything and seeing how all of their personal stories and trials shape their identities is incredible. I love how deeply all of them care for one another. This is an incredible experience for anyone who is a fan of Bri's submission. The only part I will say that might be too much is the assault of Rytsar. It is detailed, graphic, and horrifying. When it comes there is plenty of build up letting you know what is happening and if you skip that 5 or so minutes you will not miss much. A must read and still very steamy!

Gladly surprised

Excellent development, emplacement, and mindsets. It's totally and completely worth buying the trilogy. I can promise: you'll repent later if you don't, and I usually don't but this time? bullseye. Exciting, erotic, thrilling, the whole package.

Rise of the Dominants: Box Set

Wow, this box set is mind blowing. I have to say I love how each book progress to the other person. From start to finish they was such a flow that was undeniable. As a reader you know who is speaking. I have to say that Samantha was a bonus never expected to read about her. I also adore the growth between Sir, Anderson and Rytsar. I also, love that their stories just gives us a look at the beginning of their bond, as well as the brotherhood between Dubrovnik and Davis. Most of all I love how they all rubbed off on each other.

A must have!

New author for me. Jason Clarke is beyond perfection in this series! ❤
#1 - LOVED THIS! A unique intro to BDSM for 2 college boys and a great intro to the three main characters of the series. This has some hot scenes, including an impromptu MFM scene. I was not expecting the depth of Davis's backstory, but dayem it's thrilling.
#2 - OMG, I adore Glee 🥰 this was more of a light-hearted, still hot listen because Anderson is just too loveable. I HATE Davis's mother and no Glee!!! 💔😢
#3 - I have lost all respect for Samantha 😡 I love how close of a bond the three have developed 🥰 the traumas Durov has gone through is gutting 😢 This series is amazing!

Don't expect Bre

While this was a good book to listen to it pales in comparison to the previous. if you have more previously read The art of submission series I would highly advise to do so.
