Relationship OCD: A CBT-Based Guide to Overcoming Jealousy, Negative Thinking, Insecurity, Anxiety in Relationship and Fear of Commitment
By KJ Vaughan
CAUTION: Toxic relationships have started to take root due to anxiety issues. Here’s how to uproot the causes and cultivate a healthier bond.
Do you feel like a burden to your partner because of your anxiety?
Is your relationship rocky right now due to stress, mental health, and family issues?
Are you anxious about your partner becoming distant and less affectionate toward you?
When your partner doesn't give you their full attention, you may feel insecure and vulnerable.
There may also be times when you feel you’re unreliable and that they can’t count on you to do anything right.
But these recurring issues are exhausting for both of you, creating a lot of negative energy and unnecessary tension in your relationship.
You’re most likely afraid that one day, the bond you have with each other will eventually get weaker—leading to separation.
You may have asked yourself, “Will I ever break free from this cycle of negative thoughts?”
You want to stop them from making your relationship toxic.
As reported by Forbes, anxiety is linked to the deterioration of relationships.
Don’t let this happen to you—there are strategies you can use to help overcome these damaging thoughts and behaviors and finally feel secure in your relationship.
In Relationship OCD, you will discover:
- The difference between anxiety and fear—and how you can overcome them to be a better partner
- The seven signs of an anxiety disorder (you’ll realize how harmful they are to your relationships)
- How to make your partner feel valued, deeply understood, and more supportive...and vice versa!
- The number-one thing that weakens the foundation of an intimate relationship
- Seven things you need to avoid if your partner struggles with an anxiety disorder
- How to protect yourself and your relationship from the damaging effects of stress
- The importance of sex in your romance—and how to avoid losing sexual intimacy
- The best time to talk about financial problems with your partner so you can properly fix the issue
- Three things you should always do to secure the foundations of your relationship, even if you go through rough patches
- How to create a routine that will make you feel healthier and happier
- What causes your thoughts and emotions to spiral out of control—and what you should do to avoid it
- How to cultivate positive self-worth without seeking validation from others
And much more.
Even if you have bad experiences from past relationships, this guide will provide ways for how you can heal yourself from past hurts so that they don’t affect your current one.
Remember that making mistakes is normal—it’s a part of the process of overcoming negative thoughts and attitudes. Just keep going, and little by little, you’ll become a better person for it...and become happier in your relationship.

Knowledgeable Author
The tips and tricks she wrote in this book are very similar to what I’ve learned in therapy. Authorgives a wealth of knowledge. I do wish the worksheets given were a little different.
