Summary

Ingo Swann - renowned psi researcher - reveals a long-held secret series of experiences with a "deep black" agency whose apparent charter was simple: UFOs and extraterrestrials on the moon and worries about ET telepathic/mind control powers. The agency was so secret that it had no paper trail, and hence no written secrecy agreements. Only the verbal ones, which in Ingo's case expired several years ago. Now, in this era of burgeoning UFO "glasnost," he tells a story of meetings held in a secret underground facility not far from Washington DC, and of being taken to a remote location near the Arctic Circle to witness the expected arrival of a huge UFO over the surface of an Alaskan lake.

This book discusses undeveloped human telepathy and contrasts it with the probable existence of fully developed alien telepathy, which may have many different forms.

Ingo also explores the fact that we officially know far more than we're admitting about the moon - its origins, its atmosphere, its occupants and many other unusual features.

Penetration is about one of the means by which we can learn more about those not of this earth (and vice-versa) - telepathy. Do we have the means to answer some very important questions that many have been asking for quite a long time? Inside this book are the answers to some.

Better than the x-files

The first 2/3rds of this book are to coin a phrase used in the book 'sublime fantastic'. the last 3rd is a bit laboured, although still interesting.
I'd heard the name into swan mentioned quite a bit over the years and am glad I read this book. Having read the day after Roswell just before this book, it feels like being brought up on the modern star wars prequels, then watching the first two original films...and damn are they good!

Open your mind and enjoy.

As others have said the initial stories etc. are interesting. The rest is in depth about telepathy etc and ideas and is interesting, but hard to grasp some of it.
Part of me hopes the stories are true, but part of me thinks they could just be to get us interested in the rest of the book which is more about telepathy and mass consciousness etc.
At least some of this book is true. If not all.

Love listening to things like this. I mean we cannot be the only intelligent / semi intelligent life after all.
Good performance!

45% Story 55% filler.

The story he tells at the start is good and interesting(i treat books like this as fiction).
I'm guessing during the space race he really was used in the way he described, he was likely then fed random stories and possobly drugged.
After he tells the story he fills in a bunch of blanks with, well guesswork and comes to some conclusions so the first 45% is really good and compelling, after his work ends hes just sharing his opinion on things he knows little about. i dont regret the purchase though, fun read.

Intriguing

I found this book very interesting. It has certainly left me with a mind more open to the possible existence of UFOs, which were something I never really gave much thought to.
The narration was excellent.

Very insightful from the amazing Ingo Swann

The man spent many years employed by the US government to help study ESP, and was a major contributor to the procedure for ANY human being to be able to remote view. If you go on YouTube and look for lessons you can actually try it out yourself and it really does work somehow.

In the Gi rst part of the book Ingo tells an amazing story that happened to him that’s quite famous in some circles. After this he goes on to talk about baffling things related to the topic of UFOs and the structures on the moon, as well as consciousness and ESP, all while using reason and common sense.

I have to admit I read half of this book online and when I saw it on audible it was an insta-Buy for me. The narrator was decent. It’s a great read/listen and I believe every word from Ingo. He was an amazing mind.

The Length of This Book is a Huge Stretch

While the subject and core of this book is intriguing, there is really about an hour's worth of salient material, coupled with five hours of blather to stretch the book into six hours. There is simply not enough good material in this book to justify its' length. It wasted the majority of my time listening to it.

very interesting

Amazing and little known account of this mans time spent working with an ultra secret branch of either the governments intelligence agencies or a corporations intelligence that has total run of our government and tax payer resources for nefarious reasons.

Almost great

I have followed the writings and journey of Mr Swann since his early days at SRI so I was a little bit disappointed that it took so many chapters to basically lay out the case for ETs, a hollow moon and a highly concerted cover up. I still really enjoyed his candor and story telling though.
