Summary
It contains some finger mime exercise (Oh là là, quest-ce que cest?), songs (Savez-vous planter les choux, Un, deux, trois, nous irons au bois) and a story (Le petit garçon qui naimait pas les broccolis)
My First French Lessons contains 4 more lessons: Mes Premiers Mots de Francais(which should be listened to first), Animals, School and Body Parts.
The lessons encourage children to develop an interest in the French language and culture. They are designed to be fun, memorable, engaging, confidence-boosting and to build solid foundations for further study of the French language.
Ideally, you should leave some time between listening to each lesson. Lessons can be repeated as many times as you like. Children should be encouraged to mime along (finger mimes exercises) and to participate as much as possible in the lessons.

Good for young children.
If you could sum up My First French Lessons in three words, what would they be?
I can't.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Not relevant.
Have you listened to any of Alexa Polidoro’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Only the others in the series and it's no different.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No.
Any additional comments?
Like all the others in the series, I think these are great for young children and complement the more conventional teaching of French. I'm not sure I'd've liked to've heard these books when I was learning French at the age of 10 though. I think I'd've found the style too immature.

Disappointing storyline
Goes through healthy foods while children are encouraged to say « non » to all of them all for one reason or another, then once you get to « bonbon » children are encouraged to say « yum ». The traditional French song of planting cabbage is also included, which is nice, but the overall storyline is disappointing compared to her other levels.
