Summary

“Bears like Paddington are very rare,” says Mrs Bird, “and a good thing too, or it would cost us a small fortune in marmalade.”

Stephen Fry returns to tell us the continuing saga of Paddington and the Browns.

READ BY STEPHEN FRY. The Brown Family first met Paddington on a railway station – Paddington station, in fact – and now he is just another member of their family, if a slightly unusual one.

As he says himself, “Things happen to me – I’m that sort of bear.” With his attempts at home decorating, detective work and photography, the Brown family soon find that Paddington causes his own particular brand of chaos.

Took me straight back to my childhood...

I'd forgotten just how wonderful Paddington was and it was a joy to be reminded! SF brings the characters to life beautifully.

Fantastic family listening

What did you like most about More about Paddington?

This set of stories is particularly charming and funny and had all of us in stitches many times over (ages range from 7-39!) "Mr Briggs and his chilled marrow" will stay with us forever. Brilliantly read by Stephen Fry.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Obviously Paddington and his relationships with a host of very distinct individuals.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Definitely Paddington eaves-dropping on the builders.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Mind your marrows!

Any additional comments?

Absolutely superb for young and old...

Paddington

Wonderfully narrated by Stephen Fry. I'd forgotten how funny the Paddington books are. Highly recommended for laugh out loud entertainment.
