Ironically cluttered and repetitive
For a man that dislikes clutter, he sure does repeat himself. It honestly appeared, in the first book, that he had a handful of points that he repeated over and over again. At one point I had to check that I hadn't knocked the rewind button by mistake, and I say that with an entirely straight face.
I initially thought it was poorly written, then it occoured to me that it might have been badly translated, but then he spoke of being Irish/American so I do not know what to believe. I actually felt mildly irritated that the author read the whole thing out without trying his hand at rectifying the poor wording or wobbly phrases.
It's a shame that all the above irked me so much, because there were some useful nuggets and tidbits, and all in all it was a nice introduction to this whole new concept, but this may well have been because I knew nothing of the ideals: if you have an awareness or are already reaping the benifits of minimalism and hygge, then I'm sure you can do without the same list of to-do's re-jiggled over the space of four hours.

Oh dear
I have never encountered such poor grammar. some sentences genuinely did not make sense. I would not comment initially,as I thought perhaps the author was writing as a second language user, but I found out this is not the case. most bizarre phrasing.
