Summary

After an epically bad blind date, and far too much tequila, waitress/bike messenger Zoey Eastgate swore off men forever and got a tattoo that says "love bites". Maybe she shouldn’t have tempted fate. Because now love, in the form of a very powerful Mafia wolf, has bitten her right on the ass, on a full moon. And according to the Blood Oath Pack, the “moon-bite” means she is now the mate of Dominic Lombardi.

Now her new “husband” is appearing everywhere - no matter how far she runs and no matter how well she hides. He’s crowding her world, refusing to take no for an answer, letting her know that on the next full moon, she’ll be his bride. If only her body didn’t respond so strongly to the Capo of the most corrupt mob pack on the west coast. If only he didn’t threaten her family and her livelihood one minute - and then serenade her with sexy Italian love songs which she can’t understand a single word of, the next.

If only new dangers weren’t rearing their ugly head and threatening not just Zoey, but all of Encantado, the supernatural sin city she calls home. When dark magic comes too close to home, will she stop running long enough for her wiseguy werewolf to claim his bride - or will she find herself fitted with a cement overcoat, sleeping with the fishes?

Love this book

This book is funny in parts some Lil's.

Maxine Mitchell brings all the characters to life.

I really hope there are more in this series, read by Maxine. I hate it when narrator changes during a series.

Just okay.......

I was a disappointed by the way this book unfolded. While the world building was pretty good and the characters were individually interesting, the way they interacted and the various ‘scenes’ felt forced and rushed. There were a lot of cliches which made me cringe e.g. Do-gooder ‘sweet’ woman befriended orphan children and fed them.

You have to love a romance where a known criminal murder (the hero) tells the heroine she will live with him because he said so and she has a bizarre inner dialogue centred around damp panties, He does absolutely nothing, not even rescue her or a friend to make her like him - he literally just bites her on her arse. After he stalks her, licks her arse (she has to strip for him to do this), tells her not to question him, spends approximately 5 minutes actually talking to her/ordering her, she decides she lusts for him.

So weird- I mean which quality or trait is it she particularly likes? That he murders people because he’s told to by his boss and enjoys following orders? That he believes he can own a woman? That he bit her, which incidentally potentially put her life at risk. Maybe the thing the heroine really likes about the hero is that he believes her life has so little value that of course she would move her world to his, but he wouldn’t for a second consider changing anything about how he lives his life for her.
Yep he is absolutely a catch.

wonderfully terrible!!

this book falls into the category of so bad it's great. Mixing the two world's of paranormal shifter romance and Mafia was so ridiculous, it reminded me a little bit of Monty python. I laughed until I cried I loved every second of it LOL.

Love Bites

Waitress/bike messenger Zoey Eastgate is bitten on her butt by Mafia wolf, Dominic Lombardi. Zoey not wanting to be associated with the Mafia is terrified and has no intention of being mated to Dominic and decides to run from the werewolf.
It's only when dark magic threatens Zoey's friends, she decides to stop running and makes a deal with Dominic in exchange for safety.

I love it!💕💗💕💗

Really fun paranormal romance. A little suspense, a whole lot of laughter and steam. A fun different take on wolf shifters. I enjoyed every bit of this book, looking forward to the next one. First time Author for me and I'll be looking for more of her work. Maxine Mitchell's narration has improved phenomenally. She was exceptional in this, bringing the different characters to life beautifully. I highly recommend this book

Mixed Paranormal and Mafia

It is a little cheesy, but was perfect for my 10 hour drive. The narrator did an excellent job. I enjoyed the plot because it had unexpected twists.

Where's the 2nd Book?!

Love this book. It is very entertaining with the right amount of sass, sexiness, and action. I am so looking for Georgette to release the remainder of the series in Audible. I hate starting a good series and not able to finish.
Please release all on audible.
Love your writing and want more. For now all I can do is listen to your books over and over again.

Slow start but gets really good

the story started off with a lot of word vomit. It continued on for a little bit longer in the beginning. However, by continuing to read the story gets good then great then you're hoping that is not over when it really is. I do recommend reading this book all the way to the end impossible more books by the same writer in the future.

Lots of Sexy Fun

Lots of intrigue and pack dynamics. I love the world the author has built. Magic and magical creatures are known to humans, but these creatures live in portal cities, and it seems like they have to live in these cities. Each city has permanent portals that allow in nasty creatures sometimes, and moving, smaller portals that allow in dangerous creatures as well. The latter are unpredictable which makes them especially dangerous.

Both Zoey and Dominic are great characters. I think I would have enjoyed Domimic more if the narrator had been able to pull off a male voice a bit better. Each male character sounded a bit whiny, like a sixteen year old, which was a bit off putting, but I ignored it because I enjoyed the book and story so much.

Can't wait for more!
