My first foray into Audible and I was not disappointed. A definite must for your tbr list. The stories are engaging and take you through a miriad of emotions, well written and well read.

to much about peoples looks not real
To much about erothic feelings, too little about learning to know people and learn to be friends to build a lifelong relationship on. The stories are stupid. The firs three was almost ok but the rest was not.

Needs rewrite and editing for content and story structure.
I managed to listen to one story and part of the second before giving up. The language is stiff and stilted because writer didn't use contractions. It made for an uncomfortable and unnatural audible listening experience. There's very little character development and almost zero interaction between the main characters before they declare their love for one another and immediately get married after only a few brief conversations and then the story is over and the next is beginning. There really wasn't a plot... or any attempt to join the beginning of the story to the end. No intrigue, no suspense, and no substance.

Enjoyable Style
I found it refreshing to hear stores told without all the lewd words of most these days.

Mail Order Bride arrives with Surprise Son
Delightfully addictive. Heartwarming, sexless, romantic stories linked by the town Faith Creek, Texas. They function well as stand alone stories, but characters do make major appearances in subsequent books. You will enjoy the stories if Faith Creek, the town built my mail order love.

Faith Creek Brides
10 delightful stories about mail order brides and a husband settling in the lovely community of Faith Creek, Texas. Each story was very unique and l enjoyed reading of the independence of the women as they filled the town with various shops as they became teachers, nurses, and seamstresses.

Mostly very good
This was a fun book to listen to, but spoiled by a few moments of anti- Catholic bigotry that was so unnecessary to the story. Just thrown in in a couple of places.

Light listening
Light, sweet, predicable stories. Good for listening while working. Sadly, the only thing Christian about these stories are the weddings. Borrowed to listening, not sure I would spread the money to buy my own copy. Good for a break from heavier, more serious literature and nonfiction I often listen to while working.

Unbelievable
Couples meeting and falling in love within days is just unbelievable. Stories have a good start but no depth.

Easy and fun
The books are an easy read, with fun characters, TEXAS, and learning about love as the main topics.
The narrators were adequate, although a number of words were mispronounced, leaving this English teacher a bit perplexed as to why the mistakes were not corrected during editing. ('Copse' and 'minute' [meaning very small - mi-nute] are two which come to memory quickly.) Otherwise, good and lighthearted listening for distance traveling.

Hard to follow but they do build on each other
These are short stories. Some are really hard to follow and get into .
I was disappointed. They do build on each other .
