Summary

Want to predict what your customers want to buy without them having to tell you? Want to accurately forecast sales trends for your marketing team better than any employee could ever do? Then keep reading.

You’ve heard it before. The rise of artificial intelligence and how it will soon replace human beings and take away our jobs. What exactly is it capable of and how does this impact me? The real question you should be asking yourself is how can I use this to my advantage? How can I use machine learning to benefit my business and surpass my business goals? This book has the answer.

Designed for the tech novice, this book will break down the fundamentals of machine learning and what it truly means. You will learn to leverage neural networks, predictive modelling, and data mining algorithms, illustrated with real-world applications for finance, business and marketing.

Machine learning isn’t just for scientists or engineers anymore. It’s become accessible to anyone, and you can discover it’s benefits for your business.

In Machine Learning for Beginners 2019, we will reveal:

  • The fundamentals of machine learning.
  • Each of the buzzwords defined!
  • 20 real-world applications of machine learning.
  • How to predict when a customer is about to churn (and prevent it from happening).
  • How to "upsell" to your customers and close more sales.
  • How to deal with missing data or poor data.
  • Where to find free datasets and libraries.
  • Exactly which machine learning libraries you need.
  • And much much more!

I know you might be overwhelmed at this point, but I assure you this book has been designed for absolute beginners. Everything is in plain English. Machine Learning

Excellent audio book. This is a very good introduction to machine learning and data analysis.
I think the 2019 part of the title should be removed as this audio book is still up to date in 2021.
Allround very enlightening and highly recommended.

Did not find it very useful

I don't think the content of the book really lived up to what the title promised. Parts of the book were read like a list which is a hard to comprehend format as an audiobook.

Misleading title: not about ML

The book was 10% ML and the rest was just a bunch of random ”fluff”.

Ultimate Guide?

This book was a high level overview of machine learning and a few of its applications. The book did a fine job of explaining what machine learning is and why it is becoming important to society.

Make no mistake however, this short book is not an ultimate guide to anything. It is short and lacks detail.

This book also lacked an editor. It read like a high school senior project, full of grammatical errors and hard to even listen to at times.

If you want a short book to learn the conversational points of machine learning this might be the book for you, but if you are looking for an ultimate guide look someplace else.

The instructor goes into coding

Eery hands on. The instructor goes into coding and i like this way. You simply get much more out of the book. If you are completely new to neural networks i would recommend to check out this audiobook first. It helped me to really understand how neural networks work behind code

Waste of time. Below Average. Full of Fluff.

The book uses acronyms and fancy big words in trying to be smart. This book is from the perception of a marketing or some sort of business development person. Talking about technical things using big words that sound good but make no sense. I'm in the a computer engineer in I.T. field for 25 years, I know what technical and technology book should sound like. This book talks a lot about common sense stuff in marketing and lots of theories. All theories works when you talk about it. But doesn't work most of the time.
After you listen to a chapter you will wonder what did you just heard and completely forgot it because it didn't say anything.
This is a not an AI technical book. Not a book about AI. It is a book about marketing and AI and full fluff that sound good but saying nothing. A waste of my time.

Title is miss leading

The author is chatting, nothing to learn.

Waist of the credit.

If you wants to learn Machine Learning don’t choose this.

Good if you know nothing.

Very baseline overview. Broad stroke introduction to the existence of AI and ML and where it is applied. No substance into the actual application of or instruction to AI or ML. Good if you know absolutely nothing about AI or ML, not good if you are looking for an Ultimate Guide to AI, Nueral Networks, Predictive Modeling, or Python. Again, just states that they exist, nothing more.

For beginners, uh no.

My word, this was for beginners of acronyms. So full of jargon and acryonyms it was overwhelming. A broad over view but, you have to know a little bit about analytics and AI in general. What a bunch of gobblygoop! I got done and thought, wtf did I just listen to.

if you've NEVER heard the term machine learning

This book might have been useful in 1970, when nobody had heard about machine learning or data driven business and when tit was inconceivable that the gut feeling of an entitled executive wasn't the be all end all of business decisions. in 2019, if this book is useful to you, it's probably worth considering swift and quiet retirement with whatever golden parachute you can still snatch before your company too enters the 20th century.

Very helpful learning

The book was considered extremely helpful for learning Advanced data mining and python. Gives a perfect introduction to discovering and learning more when instigating your curio. Will the author suggest to write a sequel.

Amazing!

I selected this Amazon guide, and recommended it to everyone. AI is growing rapidly and it is having an important job in the coordinating field of both the enterprise and the PC. In this way, disregarding it is never conceivable again and it is the perfect opportunity for you to plumb and grasp its useful consequences and possibilities.
