Every Day's A Learning Day

I purchased this book as I am experiencing imposter syndrome and didn't want to retreat to my old self. I've listened to it twice and will listen many times more as I like how the philosophies are broken down. The biggest take away for me was living and taking advantage of the grey areas of life. I definitely recommend this book as a guide for navigating through life.

Excellent

I didn't like nor did I finish The Prince it seemed monotonous. This book summaries the integral ideas found in the Prince and accompanies them with scenarios which make them easy to understand.

Great book, terrible narration

Book is great but the narration is terrible, sounds very robotic, I'd rather siri read me a book than this guy. Other than that the book is great.

Pithy, succinct, concise, clear, cutting

This is an excellent supplemental study to Machiavelli's Il Principe.

For the value received per dollar spent, I'd pay double, and feel I got a deal 😀

Repulsive writing and narration

Author writes like they're all excited that they found an eloquent excuse to behave like a sociopath. Cap it off with a narrator who sounds like he's trying to channel Rush Limbaugh and I've got my first 1-star across the board!

Seriously though. A lot of talk about "those being in the position to be stepped on . . . deserving to be stepped on" within the first hour. Without getting too deep into the awful behaviors that this mindset can end up justifying: I barely tolerate this kind of rhetoric in fiction unless I have faith that the author can do something productive with it by the end of the story -- god forbid it be open "self-help" propaganda supporting the very toxic work environments that make it virtually impossible for me to work as a disabled person.

At that point it's not even worth my monthly credit, not even to experiment.

Wow

I keep forgetting some people aren't born with the this is my world and you are just passing thru mindset. This helps giving insight on how evil the mind can be and what you are willing to do for success or personal gain.

It was Ok

I see a lot of comments about the narrator. I don't think he was that bad. The book length was perfect as anything additional would have been added fluff. I gave the book a 3 as that's the middle of the road. I didnt absolutely enjoy the book, but I also didnt hate it. If you find this subject interesting, you'll want to read Robert Greene's 48 Laws of Power and Mastery.

Amazing interpretation for modern day leaders!!

Great quick read, insightful, to the point and book for dummy interpretations of modern day leadership from the writings of The Prince. Narrator was dope, driving home key points with voice levels raised and matter of facts. ill listen to it again often and have shared it with three friends. Nice work, thanks.
