Good story great narration

This is a normal American college with normal students each have secrets hiding something and lord the drama will make you glad you are out of school. Warning this is a cliffhanger and part 2 isn’t on audio. I thought the ending was good and didn’t mind the cliffhanger as much as I normal do. There are so many twists and turns your head will spin along with heartbreak and misunderstandings.

Ms. Lysy does a great job with narration she has a pleasant voice with wonderful character voices. There are not any background noises or any places where the volume changes high or low. She shows each characters emotion never leaving you guessing what they are thinking or feeling. Here many different voices are wonderful as she paints the picture in your mind. You have no trouble knowing who is talking male or female it is a smooth audio that gives you hours of enjoyment. If any breaks were taken you could not tell. I am looking forward to listening to more from this narrator.

The author gives you a great plot with lots of drama of who, what and where. It has a nice ending for a cliffhanger. The characters are likeable even through the pain it is hard not to like them. My heart really went out to Ana she is carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders of things that can’t be undone. What she really would like to have is a redo button. Her life is filled with the past trying to get over the biggest heartbreak of all. Jackson is a sweetheart but he is in a mess of trouble with what he is hiding. He is all over the place with his emotions and confusing ways. He finds out things are not always as they seem and it might put brother against brother before it is all done. The supporting characters some you will love and others you won’t. The twist are big and you won’t see them coming as you are pulled one way and then another.

Secrets Secrets Secrets

I really liked this first book. I prefer a little more steam but I really enjoy the mystery regarding the family and rift these families have. Interesting to see how this blossoming relationship will be challenged

Fantastic start

Savannah and Jackson's story begins with a heavy past for both of them, they meet in college but nothing is what it seems. They are both hiding who they are and their pasts, the storyline continues and you will find yourself immerse in the story and read it all in no time. This is the first book in the trilogy. I got the audiobook and let me tell you it is fantastic, Emma Lysy defiantly did an outstanding job narrating and now is on my top list of narrators.

My favorite series

I've read everything written by Mrs. Cotton and Chastity Falls will always remain my favorite. I love the dynamic between Jackson and Ana, even if he is a complete douchecanoe at times. My heart breaks for Ana everytime I read her story again. LA Cotton is a phenomenal writer. If you haven't yet tried out this series, do it now!

Who does Jackson's loyalties belong to ?

And has lived a life full of loss and defeat but now she is off to college to give herself new chances.
Getting attached to Jackson pierce isn't on her agenda but so it happens but there has to be secrecy because of Jackson's connection to the Donahue family.
The Donahue kids don't want the relationship to succeed so what lengths will they go to get their way ?

Great story but...

There is only one book available with the romance package and only three of the five audible books are available to even purchase.

Narrator does a great female voice but not so great with male voices .

Some couples really are fated to be together. Good narration.

Jackson sees Anna arrive at Chastity Falls College in a taxi and carrying a single backpack. His interest was instantly piqued. He and Anna have a somewhat shaky relationship, but there is something great there. Anna finds out some uncomfortable information about Jack, Braeden and Brianny. Both Braeden and Brianny treat Anna like crap. As the twins and Jackson are raised together like family it makes things uncomfortable for Anna especially since Brianny seems to have the hots for Jackson. This has quite a bit of the ick factor even though Jack is disgusted with her as he sees her as a sister.

Major Cliff Hanger Alert! But I throughly enjoyed YA romance Drama.

Suspenseful Romance with a lot of ups and downs. I usually hate Cliffhangers but I throughly enjoyed listening to this story.

The characters were well developed and I got totally immersed into the story. I'll be looking for the next installment of the series as soon as it comes out. I really want to know what is going to happen next.

The story is told in Savannah's POV. There are a lot of things that are left hanging and I'm hoping my questions will be answered as the story continues on in the next book.

If you enjoy YA suspenseful dramatic romances with danger and unpredictability of what might be coming next, you will enjoy this book.

The narrator did a fairly good job bringing the story to life.

Fantastic Young Adult College Drama/Romance

Love American college drama and this is drama at it's best. Loved Savannah, she is so strong considering her past, which was not easy, starting afresh in a new town miles away from anyone who knows her and her upsetting secret. On her first day she grabs the attention of one of the most notorious boys in Chastity Falls, Braiden Donahue, unbeknown to her she also snags the attention of his best friend, Pierce. After snubbing Braiden's advances she has made herself a target with the Donahue family who pretty much own the town. It's not long before she meets the boy of her dreams, Jackson, and she avoids anything to do with The Donahues and the Football team. All is good and Savannah slowly starts letting her barriers down and she starts feeling again. It would appear though, that everything isn't all sweetness and light. Jackson too is keeping some pretty bigs secrets, and he is not quite the person she thinks he is. Can their relationship prosper in the spotlight or will the Donahues take away their shot at happiness? Some interesting characters that I loved to hate, along with Jackson, who I loved, then hated, then loved again, no wonder Savannah has trouble dealing with his mixed emotions and his confusing loyalties. He frustrated the heck out of me at times. This book ends in quite the cliffhanger, it left me frustrated, angry and upset all at the same time. That being said I need to know what happens next, I can't wait for book 2. I was provided with a free copy of this audiobook via Audiobook Blast in exchange for an honest review.

Cliff hanger

I was given this book in exchange for a honest review. What a cliff hanger. I cannot wait for the next book to see what happens between Anna and Jax. He leaves her to save her life but she cannot live without him.
