Summary

Become better at communicating by enhancing your listening skills.

Do you listen to others? Yes? No, I mean, do you really listen to others? If there is room for improvement, then download this relatively low-priced book and become more loved in relationships and by coworkers, or become more effective at what you do and how much information you absorb. This book talks about passive listening, active listening, tips to improve, and thoughts that will help you show more interest in others, something that is much needed in today's fast-paced, digital society.

Silent has the same letters as Listen - Worthwhile for this nugget alone.

Brilliant short and to the point.
I know I will find myself listening to this repeatedly to try and encourage the habit of listening attentively.

Sweet, simple, and to the point

This book was a nice quick listen to remind yourself of little things you may or may not do well as a listener. Perfect for a short flight.

I listened to the entire booklet

The middle three chapters (4-6 I think) are useful but the rest is just filler. It is really only about 15 minutes of good information

Lots of great tips

For somebody who is not good at listening this book is perfect. The book is shore into the point and full of a lot of good information. It made me realize things that I could work on to prove my listening.

Felt like a summary

Where is the rest of the book. Is this a summary. What there was, was good but seems like more is needed. This will get me started.

I was hoping to learn something I didn't already know, however some of the tips were helpful.

Restates the obvious

Keeps restating about 5 bullet points on how to be an active listener. Neither the approach nor the information are novel or new. This book won’t change you nor equip you to be a better listener.
