Summary

Publié sous le pseudonyme Vernon Sullivan, J'irai cracher sur vos tombes est paru en 1946. Le livre met en scène les difficultés de s'intégrer et de vivre simplement pour les Noirs dans les États-Unis du sud et le désir de vengeance inhérent au ségrégationnisme. L'univers de Vian est bien présent dans ce roman aux allures sociales. C'est lors de la première projection au cinéma de J'irai cracher sur vos tombes que Boris Vian est victime d'un infarctus fatal en 1959.
