very good, but not for beginners as book indicates
The stories are interesting, read very well, the attached PDF is great tool as well. But it is not for beginners really. The vocabulary used in the stories are for those who have studied already at least, at least few months. In other words expressions and vocabulary are more difficult, the same for using passato prosimo tens. So if you are not beginer, bu intermediate, its great book to grow your vocabulary with new words and expressions, while reading different stories than in other books.
after reading and listening to 20 lessons, I conclude that there are also mistakes and differences between listening version and written pdf, almost every lesson has moments when you hear the voice saying different words or skipping some words in comparison to written version. I highly recommend that Touri does much better job in checking this before launching any product like this. Its ridiculous.

Neat way to learn a language
Touri did a great job on these stories. Just what I was looking for. With a little more time on my hands I'm able to practice Italian more often, so this was very helpful.

Great learning tool
Great value with many stories and pdf to listen and read. It also has a low price kindle version to go with the audio if you want more than pdf.

I like these stories. It would help if the readers had an English speaking person helped them with the English pronunciation, however. Thank you for doing these.

Decent Italian Learning Tool
A wonderful idea to help with learning Italian. These stories are fun and simple to follow along. The narrator did an excellent job. Touri, keep coming out with great Italian learning materials. I have tried a number of Italian audiobooks and in my opinion this is one of the best ones to really start to train your ear.

Clear and precise pronunciation
Wonderful! This series of Italian short stories has been a great way for me to immerse myself in the language, hashing out not just how individual verbs are conjugated, but how Italian itself flows and structures itself. Such a great resource for foreign languages that give real world situations to learn from. The vocabulary is broken down into easy understandable parts for each story. The narration in both languages is easy to understand.

Good Audiobook in Italian
Probably not the best for someone who doesn't know any Italian whatsoever...However, the companion doc can also help with that. I found that the stories increased in difficulty chapter by chapter, which allowed for me to expand my Italian comprehension much quicker. The recap and tricky questions for each story were a nice touch.

Narrator's Pacing is "On Point"
I love the stories in this book. They are carefully selected to be engaging, yet informative. They are narrated with a warm and welcoming voice which I thought really helped for learning Italian. I've listened to the audiobook several times and enjoy it more every time. The whole point is to use common words in the Italian language within a fun context. Although, I had a little bit of Italian knowledge, this book served as a great resource for improving my comprehension, especially through the exercises.This is a very useful and interesting book.

Delightful learning experience
Superb, high-quality audio and narration. If you're looking for a good way to learn Italian this is it! It's worth grabbing a copy simply from the entertainment aspect. There's a PDF document that comes with it too for those visual learners out there. Several helpful with phrases and stories that will have you master Italian like a native. The voice-over performer was quite fluent, clear and patient when she was going back and forth with the easy translations and what they mean. So when you get a chance pick up a copy and enjoy.
