Summary
I don’t do romance. I don’t do love. I certainly don’t do relationships. Women are attracted to my power and money and I like a nice ass and a pretty smile. It’s a fair exchange—a business deal for pleasure.
Meeting Beth Harrison in the first class cabin of my flight from Chicago to London throws me for a loop and everything I know about myself and women goes out the window.
I’m usually good at reading people, situations, the markets. I know instantly if I can trust someone or if they’re lying. But Beth is contradictory and confounding I don’t know which way is up.
She’s sweet but so much more, she makes my knees weak and mouth dry. She’s confident but so vulnerable, I want to wrap her up and protect her from the world.
We spend the night together and then just disappears, leaving me with my pants around my ankles, wondering which day of the week it is. If I ever see her again I don’t know if I’ll scream at her, strip her naked or fall in love.
Thank goodness I live in Chicago and she lives in London and we’ll never see each other again, right?
A stand-alone, full length novel with no cliffhanger.

I loved it!
Indigo Nights is great read/listen by Louise Bay. I loved Beth and Dylan they’re such great characters brought to life superbly by two of my favourite narrators. The storyline is fantastic and well written as always. If you like your romance hot and sexy then you’ll love this!

Nice.
Indigo Nights did not blow me away. I was not desperate to need to know what happens next as I was not drawn into the story. This is a pity as the narration was good, the story was good but overall I was not blown away.

Same old, same old
Two things I found off-putting about this book - one is the fact that it is all about sex and nothing else and the second is - and this is the first time I thought this because I have heard many of her books, I did not really like the way Andi Arndt narrated this book, she was too breathy and too “light” or insubstantial, I did not really feel her as the character.

Brilliant story and performance
Loved listening to this book and both performers are fantastic to listen to (I highly recommend listening to anything performed by either of them) the story is wonderful and you find yourself fully invested in the relationship...and a massive urge to constantly eat cake!

I was gripped from start to finish.
I came across Louise Bay by recommendation from a friend and now I just have to read everything. I found myself following all the emotions and really feeling them. When I knew how Beth or Dylan were going to react or feel I was right there with them.
The narration by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York is always great, their voices have such expression and depth of feeling to them. I would recommend this to anyone.
