Summary
The most frank and intimate portrait of the Trump White House yet
Stephanie Grisham rose from being a junior press wrangler on the Trump campaign in 2016 to assuming top positions in the administration as White House press secretary and communications director, while at the same time acting as First Lady Melania Trump’s communications director and eventually chief of staff. Few members of the Trump inner circle served longer or were as close to the first family as Stephanie Grisham, and few had her unique insight into the turbulent four years of the administration, especially the personalities behind the headlines.

Searingly honest
I read the ‘other Stephanie’ book first & my impression of Stephanie Grisham was really negative. This book corrects pretty much everything. She’s a great girl, committed to her brief, a true professional & her struggles with the internal cabals are often painful but educational too. I disliked trump and his entourage from the start; now I know why.

Narcissistic rubbish and a book about the author
This book is about the author, every story is related back to herself as if she is the character of interest. There's nothing that wasn't already in the press, unless it was about the authors experience of how she felt in the particular story.
I did learn that the Trumps seem like nice people.
I wasted my money .

Interesting take on the Trump administration
an interesting insight from an upper mid-lecel political staffer. I don't say that disrespectfully but as a position I myself once occupied.
There are definitely some American quirks in there (the Netherlands becomes the Nether Lands) which made me chuckle. But it is balanced and interesting.

I’ll Take Your Questions Now - A really great listen !
After listening to Melania and Me by Stephanie Winston Walkoff I decided to give Stephanie Grisham’s story a go.
I am so that glad I did.
Stephanie writes openly and honestly and gives the listener a real feel for the dynamics of the East and West wings of the Whitehouse and working for President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania.
The book is well written and I enjoyed Stephanie’s narration, I have laughed, felt anger, sadness and relief. A really great listen!

Total self serving BS by the new Linda Trip
In response to Grisham using “colorful language” to describe the Trump White House as a “clown car on fire running at full speed into a warehouse full of fireworks,” the host pointed out that “she knew all about the clown car and she still called ‘shotgun’ for four years.”

Not impressed....
Either with the writing or the trite, petty tell all. I never had any respect for 45 or his wife. Grisham had every opportunity to walk away, yet she remained. She just underlined what we could all see, an inept man doing a job far beyond his grasp, the White House being inhabited by neophytes, grifters and criminals, and that Lindsey Graham is for hire to the highest bidder. Grisham has overstated the obvious.

Superficial and self serving
TRumplican press secretary Stephanie Grisham's book, "I'll Take Your Questions Now" is what you'd get if "The Devil Wears Prada" was written by Jessica Simpson, published by Wish, and sold at Walmart.
Grifters gonna grift.

interesting but also a bit misleading
Grisham has some interesting stories here but it seems like she is to a large extent using this high profile book to further TRUMP'S AGENDA of discrediting the PRESS. It would not surprise me if the Trumps' public "negative reaction" about this book has been entirely STAGED and they in fact support this book which is in a way a slyly done rewriting of history. Donald Trump's CENTRAL tactic has always been to discredit the press. Grisham at the very least seems to make the press look as though they are "partly responsible" for the CIRCUS that was the Trump admin which is completely absurd and dishonest. IMO Grisham is 100% a member of Trump world and is still serving the interests of it.
Sadly many gullible people will think this book is genuinely a "tell all" about the Trumps. It's not. Think of this book like "controlled opposition". Everything in Trump world is a hall of mirrors.
The real purpose of this book is to vilify reporters and argue that they were unfair to Trump. It's a bait and switch.
The only reason I am glad I listened to this deceptive GARBAGE is so that I can warn others what complete TRUMPIAN garbage it is. By all means buy the book if you need to verify this for yourself. Audible lets you return titles you don't like. Grisham is a Trumplican who resigned only after Jan 6th to spare her professional reputation. She continues to be a Trumplican to this day. Leopards don't change their spots.

Spewing trash with a little girl voice
The narrator sounded like a child and was wholly unbelievable, although what she writes is probably true. It is the whining voice. I couldn't take her writing style that close to being blah, meh, and the rest. Don't waste your time unless you can't live without gossip. Nothing intellectually challenging in the least.

This book was apologetic for the former first lady’s lack of interest in performing her job, and the former president ‘s failure in performing his job. Yet she stuck it out to write this book, how charming , now warning us “ don’t vote for Trump” again. How ridiculous - sorry I bought it. Where were you while Trump was President, Stephanie? I gotta stop buying this stuff. It’s all the same.

Narcissistic Ramblings
I’m glad she now says Trump shouldn’t be in office again. She gets points for that. I also think this book is honest. However…to have worked in and supported that dysfunctional sewer for as long as she did, especially amid the disgusting and deadly response to Covid, makes her an enabler. They are responsible for the deaths of countless thousands of people. As she said, too little too late.
