Summary

Yousef, whose mother threatened to kill him for having a Bible, now smuggles Bibles the way his family once smuggled drugs.

After Parveen's employer beats her for attending church, Parveen begins to help other young Christian women who work in Muslim houses.

Abdulmasi kills hundreds of Christians in Northern Nigeria with no remorse - until the day he chooses a new life of faith and sacrifices everything for a God of love.

What can we learn from these faith-filled brothers and sisters around the world? How can we pray for them? And what do their remarkable stories teach us about a God whose light shines in a dark world?

I Am N reminds us that we are each "N", as radical Muslims in Iraq identify followers of Jesus the Nazarene. Wherever we live, we have camaraderie with those who are persecuted. So come meet their families. Listen to their stories. Deepen your faith in a God who gives us the courage to shine in a dark and hurting world.

Inspiring stories

Inspiring stories told with a minimum of graphic detail regarding the torture and suffering these Christians endure daily. Don't be afraid to read this if you are fearful that the content will sadden or shock you. You will be more inspired by their faith and love than anything else.

I had no idea

This book truly opened the eyes of my heart to the hatred that can live in the hearts of people who believe differently than I do. I will pray for those who are in these horrific situations. And I pray that in all situations God will give me courage and faithfulness needed to bring glory to His name. Jesus is my Lord and Savior.

Pray for the fellow saints

What made the experience of listening to I Am N the most enjoyable?

Two awesome alternating narrators. The courage of new believers in hostile areas is amazing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of I Am N?

The description of N. A couple days ago I saw someone with the t-shirt. I had no idea what it stood for. After this book I may purchase one myself.

What does Marco Prentice and Amara Delaney bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They are very good. Their voices do not put you to sleep nor are they too animated.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It gave me prayer points on behalf of the saints all over the world. We have no excuse to have nothing to pray about in America.

WOW the courage

The courage of these people who convert to Christianity is amazing. It helped me realize we are not called to comfortable-but to love and do as Christ calls us to do-even when its not easy! Thank you for this book!

eye-opening stories, very inspiring

this has been one of the hardest books I've listened to this far, yet it is still one of the more inspiring groups of stories I've heard. I've been to a lot of these countries and I know that finding another Christian was few and far between. hearing the stories help me see why that was. it made me realize that in my own life I don't do as much as I should for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to make sure that I don't have to live as most of us do here in the first world. I hear these people struggle and yet the amount of joy that each one of them still had you realize that they are really living the life that we all should be. I highly recommend this for anyone who is really wondering why their life just feels flat and why they feel like they should be doing more. these stories help you realize how much more we can do.

Great book!

Not sure why the news is ignoring this, but glad somebody put a book together for modern day martyrs.

Beautiful stories of strength through Jesus

I am touched and changed forever by these stories. May my father in Heaven never let me forget them but to remember my brothers and sisters in Christ always in prayer and sacrifice. I stand with all of them.

Vengence is the Lord's

Deeply moved and humbled by the faith of the Christians in this book. God uses those who are willing. His ways are not our ways. God is great; His followers are exulted above all. It is my prayer that readers of this book will grow in God's love, and respond to this humble plea for help.

Multiple short stories followed by reflection

There are dozens of stories here of persecution. Christians in all parts of the world suffering for their faith. It is not an in depth look at causes or solutions to the problem rather inspirational stories.
