Summary

On a crisp, fall night, Serena Westwood wakes to the faint stirs of her crying baby. Bottle in hand, she tiptoes to the other side of the house, sneaks up to the crib, looks in. A wave of panic grips her as her real nightmare begins. Inside the crib, there is no baby.

made it to the end... just

this didnt hook me at all.
I just didn't feel any emotion towards any character or the story. and there is something very annoying about the narrator, maybe that she uses character voices which I wouldn't put to the character? im not sure.

Still enjoying this series

The story focused more on Sloan's deep feelings. The mystery was original, not edge of your seat but wanting to know the outcome. Without any spoilers, the story had unfinished business that makes me want to read the next in the series.

Wonderfully written and read

I just loved reading and now listening to this book. Started off with a few shed tears and ended with a surprise. The reader, Nikki, has a very clear voice and yet does not lull you to sleep. She is very expressive.

Entertaining

I enjoyed this book, and even though it wasn’t the best I’ve ever read, it kept my attention.
