Interesting book
The content is helpful to all parents and having age specific examples is very useful. This being said I didn’t learn a whole lot.
The narrator is awful with a very monotonous voice, making it more difficult to listen to.

Love languages + communication skills=perfect tool
I am a first-time parent, and I admit that I felt lost. I had no experience! This book has taught me so much. I need to thank the author. I also like the narrator's voice. This audiobook has opened my eyes to what I have been saying and what I should say, and it works! My son is three years old, and we have applied the techniques right away, and it has helped! I remember that every time I asked a family member for advice on how to get him to listen better, they all say the same thing: "It's almost not possible, he is just the child and won't listen easily. You just have to give consequences", which wasn't helpful so I couldn't be happier when I found this book! If you're contemplating right now- just buy it!

Be the parent you dreamed of being
I found it had excellent examples from various situations and solutions as well as skills I could put into practice right away. I finished listening to the book as soon as I can. I also like how nonjudgmental the book was and gave families at any level of conflict skills to help them communicate, feel understood and valued, and work toward a solution that your family could all be happy with. We handle our little ones going from toddler to child, then to young adult later. Communication is always the key to be a good parent. A must listen if you have children!

Good information.
I chose this book because it was less than 3 hours to listen to. After I finished I wished I could keep listening. The information is very useful and easy to understand. In with my parents could’ve read this when I was a child.
