Summary

A simple step-by-step audiobook for launching your podcast. Learn how to choose podcasting equipment, marketing, and more useful tips.

Why start a podcast?

There are three reasons people listen to a podcast: an unusual sense of intimacy, the ability to productively multitask while driving or working out, and great stories - the power of narrative.

If you understand the value of creating content (for example, keeping an active blog) for your business and brand, then you understand the value of podcasting. Creating a podcast allows you to reach a brand-new audience: a group of people who might otherwise never find or consume your long-form content because they prefer the audio format.

A podcast is an excellent way to build an audience from scratch and position yourself as an authority in your industry. In addition, podcasts also provide the potential to drive traffic back to your website or store. Podcasting is exploding. Thirty percent of time spent listening to audio sources goes to podcasts.

Throughout this audiobook, we’ll discuss the many ways in which you can start your own podcast instantly.

Included in this audiobook are chapters, such as:

  • How to Start a Podcast
  • Podcasts and Podcasting for Beginners
  • Podcast Marketing
  • Ways to Profit from Your Podcast
  • How to Be a Podcaster
  • Tips on How to Use a Podcast for Internet Marketing
  • Building Your Podcast Brand
  • The Benefits of Podcasting in Business

Repetitive

Book just keeps repeating the same basic information. Like yeah I know what a podcast is you don’t have to tell me a third time an hour and a half into the book. And to top it off it looks like all the other reviews are fake.

Audio Performance Distracting

It was not only the intonation (which was weird), but like the reader/performer had not read the material beforehand. You know when a question doesn’t sound like a question, or there are unnatural pauses.
