Loved it but hated the narrator
I absolutely loved this book! I found it super interesting and captivating but I had a real issue with the narrator, specially on the parts where the bad guys were talking. It sounded ridiculous and forced.

meh
The story started out interesting but for me the climax was a big let down. I almost gave up on it because of the narration of one character.

Good book,
I liked the narrative overall, though I thought the characters and their relationships still seemed a bit off. The villains in particular were neither poetically strange not believable and thus seemed flat plot devices.

A worthy sequel
In my opinion this was even better than the original story. I loved how this expanded the stories of the original characters and introduced new and interesting ones. Mermaids, and drowned girls, and Nonsense. Oh My

Great listen!
I really loved this book. I adore Amber Benson, and she did a fantastic job for the most part. I just really didnt like the voices for Leigh and James, they kinda took me out of the story. I will definitely read/listen again!

A Wonderful Delight
Seanan McGuire has a knack for making me cry and smile at the same time. This book is no exception. Michelle Dockrey does an amazing job reading, which comes as no surprise to anyone who has heard Michelle read before.

Great story with good narration
Found the voice of the narrator quite irritating and my husband mocked it endlessly. But I really enjoyed the book and the way the voices distinguished characters was very good.

Middlegame is magic
This is an astonishing book, told with consummate skill through twists and turns that left me gasping. The language is lyrical and dagger sharp by turns, and the narration is unsettlingly spot on in creating voices for the characters.
