Fun clean romance with a touch of mystery

A fun, clean romance. Zachary goes to L.A. Undercover o investigate embezzlement at his company. He meets and is instantly smitten by Melanie his boss. The two main characters seems rather naive to hold their positions in the company. The story is well written with fun dialogue. Connie Shabshab does an excellent job with the narration and has a good day for accents. I received a complimentary copy from the narrator and am leaving a honest voluntary review.

sweet

this is the their book I've read/listened to by this author and narrator.
the narrator always does a good job job with the voices.
the story was just okay for me. I enjoyed the plot of what happened, I just had a really hard time with melanie the main female lead, it made it seem she was super naive or not very smart with the way things played out.

i would definitely still recommend this author as I did enjoy the last two books. how to take a billionaire cowboy and how to nanny a billionaires baby was also good.

fall guy/girl

This was an unexpected treat, and I enjoyed it. Good mystery. Poor Melanie was clueless and so cute. Zac's vulnerability was heart melting. I was surprised with the nasty twist this took. Desperation brings out the worst. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.
