great story
I had read this book and really enjoyed it so when I had a long journey to do I thought I would down load in in audible form as I have found reading books and listening to them gives you a very different experience of the story - A lot of that difference is down to the narrator.
When I first started listening I didnt like how it was being narrated but over time I got use to it. The only thing that I still struggled with by the end of the book was by how slow it was read. That having been said I will not stop me listening to the next one as they are brilliantly written storys and get very hot and spicy at times.

Very erotic romance
This audiobook was well done, and unusual in that it is an erotic sci-if romance. If you are adverse to any aspects of BDSM you will probably not enjoy this book because it's basis is a relationship between a very dominant alien prince and a female human slave. She is chosen for him by an algorithm and brought to him. She is psychic and that is s punishment by death on the planet she was bought from, so she hides it. He is trying to procreate and that is why she was found and bought for him. Unfortunately, she shows this in several ways and he becomes distrustful when she won't reveal how she knows things. Overall, a good story with lots of descriptive sex. Narrator had an interesting voice that worked well.

I usually enjoy paranormal romance but I think this should be listed under Sci/Fi Erotica. The story is very well written with a lot of details about their steamy encounters. The BDSM is a strong constant part in this story. If you dislike this type of interaction this book might not be for you. Their interactions are described in detail.
Narration was well done and it brought the story to life.
The story is about a very dominant alien prince and his human slave. This story is unique and their relationship develops but he complains constantly about his slaves lies and deceit. There are quite a bit of misunderstandings because they are from a different planets with different customs.
There are no cliffhangers and the story is well paced & does conclude on a positive note.

Zander.. The alien of my dreams
I purchased this audio because I enjoy Renée rose's writing very much. This was no exception. Xander the alien prince needs a mate to repopulate with and ends up with a biological match that is a human. She's not just any human though she's special. As the dynamic of the two different cultures unfolds and the two bond and get closer through not only the domestic discipline but a loving hand, it is clear that they are meant to be. The story was heartfelt and very passionate. Can't wait to listen to the next.

hot hot alien sex love story
This novel has everything: hot alien-human sex, oral, anal, corporal punishment, love, slave sex, and a great sci-fi story line. Did I mention hot sex?

Unconventional but steamy
First, the narration completely fit the book. this type of book is not my usual style of romance but it was so interesting I could stop listening. There were so many times I wanted to hate Zander for his harsh actions, but his road to fall in love made me really like his character. my only disappointment was the epilogue. I would have love to have listened to a stronger HEA - the birth of their baby. maybe there is some reference made next book. about her sister.

HARD TO RATE... SOME PARTS GREAT, SOME NOT SO MUCH

I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author in exchange for an unbiased review.
Jiraiya Addams has a very deep, mesmerizing voice. It doesn't pull off sexy, IMO, but more of a theater reading. Nonetheless, I prefer his voice over a female for this book.
The story itself was engaging, although it was the normal "alien abduction" theme, and with over 6 hours of listening, it didn't feel clipped. Zander, the Prince of a race removed from their planet. Amid the few survivors, he was young enough to procreate but there were no females of his species left with that capability so he was DNA matched with Lamira, a human captive. Having no interest in humans, he was quite sterile in his approach to sex with her. Lamira was horrified at the turn of events in her life as her sister was a forced sex-slave and her father had lead a rebellion against their captors. Needless to say, they clashed, she dashed, he retrieved and more attention was paid to each other in all respects. Trust became their final hurdle as they navigated the meaning of love.
It was good. It gets a THUMBS UP from me.

Interesting
I'm not quite sold on the narrator; sometimes his deep slow voice seemed too much. Though during the hotter scenes it certainly added something.
Interesting twist on a Master/slave intimate relationship. Ms Rose can certainly write a sexy steamy scene. The theme of a woman submitting, both in will and sex, is not for everyone and I can see some women getting up in arms. If that's you, this is NOT the book for you. I enjoyed it.

There's nothing like Alien to get you going. I don't know what it is about these kinds of books.It contains a perfect mixture of love, discipline, hot sex, kinkiness...and here is a bonus…it is a good story too!
The main characters had totally different backgrounds and history which did give the reader a glimpse into their inner psyche as it came to the current events of this story.
I liked both Lamira and Zander, and I really enjoyed Daneth (who provides touches of comic relief as he studies and tries to explain humans to Zander) and Seke as supporting characters as well.

A great read!
The story itself is amazing. The main characters are relatable and captivating. I couldn't put it down.
The suspense, dishonesty and domineering passion of Zander and Lamiras innocence made for fantastic chemistry.
Definitely will be reading the next 2 book in the series.
