Summary

New York Times Bestselling Author Lynsay Sands delivers another sexy historical romance set in the wilds of the Highlands

In all her daydreams about her wedding day, Lady Claray MacFarlane never once imagined being dragged to the altar by her greedy uncle and forced to marry a man she didn’t know. But that’s what happened, or would have, had a Highland warrior not snatched her up at the last minute and ridden off with her in his arms. . .

They call him the Wolf. The mercenary’s courage and prowess in battle are known throughout the Highlands, and with his handsome face and black-as-sin hair, he is as intelligent and deadly as the wolf he was named for…

But the Wolf is also Claray’s betrothed. Thought to have been killed as a child, he’s been in hiding all these years. Now he’s determined to earn enough coin to rebuild his home, reclaim his birthright, and honor his marriage contract to Claray. For he’s fallen for the tender-hearted lass…and he will do anything to protect her and their future together.

Loved the story

Loved every minute of it. Claray was such a darling and I loved Connell also.
The narrator was good but at times couldn't tell when a female or a male was talking. His female voices were a bit too masculine.

Highland Wolf

I have loved all the books in this series. Lynsay Sands' books have great stories and always make me laugh. I was disappointed at first as I thought she hadn't finished the Buchanan brothers stories, but the Wolf and Claray were intertwined with them all. Clever.

DON’T waste your money on this

Really poor , it is like someone else has written this book, it is not her usual standard, actually this book has no standards.
Did her publisher force her to Wright this and she had not the Hart to do it?
No proper story , the relentless animals is acutely pathetic. Squeak!!! Really …. Come on .

Apart from the pi** poor so called story, the writing was bad , it was told like a boring essay , nothing to engage with ,dragged and dragged it doesn’t redeem itself . There is no bones to it really upset

Narrators

I love your books I just wish that you had a male and a female to narrate the books.

THIS WAS THE BEST SO FAR

I enjoyed this book mainly because of the narrator. The other books in the series were hit or miss with the narrators. Most were just tolerable.

I hope this narrator does many more...

Great book

I really liked this book. I would have loved it more had it been about one the last Buchanan brothers.. but this is good as a book..

No, no and no.

Although I usually enjoy Lyndsay Sands, this particular book was not enjoyable at all. The two main characters lacked any depth. The story itself had no real plot and no plot twists. I kept hoping it would develop, but it never did. This is the first book I’ve felt compelled to write a negative review on. I don’t recommend it, I feel it was a waste of time and money.

Outstanding!!!

Narrator has a rich enthralling voice, storyline is beautiful, heroine and hero are believable. it tackles a subject that was real in that time. Antagonist was easy to hate. .I L O V E D T H I S B O O K!!

Another hit

I loved meeting new people and hear from older characters. This book did make me continue to guess at it. Well done but I would have love for more of the Buchanans to be in on the activities.

Loved this one!!!

If your looking for a Snow White female lead and a hot Scottish Laird alpha male lead then your reading the right book.
The story was sweet and the sex was hot so what else can I say…a PERFECT romance!

It was nice… a little anticlimactic

I liked the book okay and enjoyed the narrator but the story wasn’t that great. Kind of boring. And the ending was out of nowhere. I was hoping that the seeds were being planted throughout the story and then it all came together in the end but that didn’t really happen.

Wonderful story

I was a thriller from the beginning. The narrator has a special touch with the characters.
