I never write reviews but…

I never write reviews but the whole time listening to this book I was thinking of writing a review. I loved the first book, forgot about the second book, and hated the third book. She was supposed to end up with Lucien. The readers literally have no connection to Rowan and we are just supposed to accept that he’s her soulmate because he’s been quietly in her head this whole time? I’m sorry, but creepy. You can’t make us fall in love with Lucien and then just ignore him for a whole book, introduce a new character then be like, “oh yeah all that time we spent with Lucien was pointless.” If you want us to like Rowen, show us how well he treats her don’t tell us. We were shown how good Lucien was to her so we cared about him. Rowen is more like a protective dad or brother not a love interest.
