The war for the Metal Islands is over, but the search for survivors has just begun.
After a long and bloody battle, legendary Hell Diver Xavier Rodriguez reigns as the dutiful but reluctant new king of the islands. Advised by a council of former sky citizens as well as Cazadores, he works to assimilate the two societies peacefully. But not all Cazadores have accepted the new order.
While X tries to ease tensions at home, a rookie team of divers, led by Michael Everhart, returns to the skies in Discovery, formerly the ITC Deliverance. Their mission: To locate other human survivors throughout the world and rescue them. But Michael’s team aren’t the only ones searching for survivors. A gruesome discovery reveals that android defectors continue to hunt humans across the globe. And they may not be the only ones.

For the immortal
Absolutely brilliant, once again NSS brings us an enthralling addition to the Hell Divers series, and thanks to RCB for helping to bring all the characters to life ( can't get enough of his voice) you can just sit back and believe you are there with them watching their lives evolving. Can't wait for the next chapter to come. Waiting patiently.

Brilliant addition to the series
Fantastic listen with a great bit of narration from R C Bray. This episode really developed some of the characters a bit more and introduced yet more mutated creatures into the mix. Moving swiftly to get the next episode and binge listen to hopefully another great installment.

Dumbstruck.
I fell in love with X and the series about a year ago. Mainly because I was exploring series narrated by Mr. Bray. It’s been a beautiful journey and by the end of the last book, I was thinking that this is the beginning of the end. Nope. Not in a million years.
What. A. Book. What a beautiful sequel to an all engrossing storyline. I started the book 3 days ago and just could not stop! I actually cancelled meetings to finish scenes!
Nicholas Smith has done it again. He has got me craving for the next one already! An absolutely brilliant storyteller matched with one of the best narrators of all times.

Great new chapter
Glad to see this story being picked up again, love the treachery and coup de ta feel to X's story and the new enemies unveiled will make for great new stories to come!
not just as fast paced as with book 5 but a solid story and as always NSS's writing and attention to detail are just fantastic!

These stories keep getting better and better. NSS’ ability to develop a character never fails to deliver, and each new challenge becomes more frightening than the last.

Interesting story great narrator
R.C. Bray is probably the first narrator I came to like. I think he is great and any listen with him is good just because of that. Hell Divers is a good and unique post-apocalyptic story. Definitely worth a listen.
