Dragged out longer then it should
I'm not sure what it was but i felt the story could have wrapped up a lot sooner and was filled with a lot of "filler" pages but the story was fine.

Totally love luke and the mc. Lexy did a great job In the characters and their history and being drawn back together. The love and troubles they face together.

Lexy Timms is a great narrator but this story was so drawn out. I liked the first book but after that it just became ridiculous!!!

Don't waste your time or credit!
There is no fun in this series. I get there is supposed to be drama and one unbelievable event after another in these types of books, however neither lead ever seems to have any joy. How is the reader to get drawn into a fiction world when it is so depressing?

Found a book to turn my libido off...
The main female character is whiny and clearly needs to learn to grow up. The premise is interesting. I like the setting. I truly enjoy a good MC romance but this one... leaves a lot to be desired. I will note that I kept reading just so I could give it a true chance and review.

Good story
This was a good MC series. The relationship between Luke and Emily was entertaining to see progress. Emily’s relationship with her family was draining. I completely disliked Emily’s parents. The father was a judgmental tyrant and the mother was an hypocritical snob. I wasn’t a fan of Emily’s sister either...she claimed to do so much for her sister but technically, all she did was loan her a car because Emily was paying Justin for his services. I don’t understand how a person could enter WITSEC in America for allegedly committed in Mexico. I also don’t understand how someone in WITSEC that married a US citizen, wouldn’t get citizenship. Luke is a completely likable dude and so was Saks and Gibs. I enjoyed getting to know those characters as opposed to Emily’s family. After finding out what Evan was doing to Emily, I don’t get why her family still talked to Evan.

It could have been better!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the story. My problem was the narrator. She isn't out for narration. I never knew which character was talking and the emotional scenes could have been someone reading the telephone book.
Now IF you can get past the narrator, the story is great. The twists and turns in the plot were exciting and suspenseful. I just wish that the author would have gotten a much better narrator.

Don't get the audio book READ the book it's better
Audio book had the wrong aerator choice for MC she would be perfect for a Roman e not swearing and biker clubs. read the a dual book don't listen

Horribly boring narrator!!!!
I never write reviews although I’ve listened to hundreds of audio books, but this narrator is horrible!!! I could barely get through the book,which was just ok. The narrator is very monotoned, and she didn’t chance her voice between the male and female characters. It’s was just the same sleep-inducing voice the entire book. I’m unsure how this narrator was picked to read this set of books, but I can’t listen to her read anymore and will avoid all of her narrated books in the future.
